I’m guessing Hussein’s handlers are already preparing the RACIST post-election response.

All the leftist freaks I hear from already have it down pat.

I think Romney will be an excellent President. He has "character" so lacking in Obama's camp.

And you know what...Character counts....it's how you choose your friends!!

It Is Going To Be Romney By A Landslide

I pray you are correct, but one debate doesn't win it. It is like a playoff series in baseball when one team creams the other 15-1 in the first game and everyone assumes it's over only to have the other team comes back and win by slim margins in the remaining games.

Believe me, you haven't seen cheating or dirty tricks like you're going to see between now and election day. Hussein 0bama and the dims will stop at literally nothing to hold on to power.

I am not not so sanguine.

First, there are a lot of people out there voting for “free stuff” and not all of them are the 47%. A lot of them are rather powerful corporations (GE comes mind) and “banksters.”

Second, if Obama becomes a liability, will he live until election day? A false-flag assassination could win the election for the Democrats or even suspend elections all together.

This debate was a turning point. Obama has lost his magic to the shock of all his supporters.

He will not be able to muster it back again without dropping all of his cards.

And by then it will be too late.

Romney will win the popular vote by a solid amount.

The Electoral College, however, still poses problems. It's all going to come down to Ohio, I think.

I’m not afraid of the riots, what I’m afraid of is that the homeless, totally absent for the past 4 years, will suddenly return to our clean, sunny streets.

“The housing market has not rebounded even with interest rates at historic levels.”

The Real estate people seem to think that it has. A house that, at the top of the bubble, would have gone for 475,000 went on the market last week for 419,000. The Long Island rail road Babylon line runs 60 feet south of this homes half acre lot. Almost half a mil for a crappy low ranch. I’m watching this one!

I might agree with this if things were “normal.” But there are an awful lot that needs to be watched here...

1) Right off the bat, we need to remember that we’re dealing with a Chicago political machine on a national scale, filled with thugs never before unleashed on the American public. Believe me, we haven’t begun to see the slimy, underhanded, lying political ads.

2) The media was unhappy with Obama’s performance last night, and some people on the right took it to mean they’re going to abandon Obama. I believe that’s COMPLETELY WRONG! The Ministry of Propaganda isn’t just going to “double down” their support of Obama - They’re going to “triple down” or “quadruple down” on him. Get ready for a level of fawning love for Obama, and really ugly smears on Romney on a scale never before seen.

3) Obama is a master of the “Jedi Mind Trick,” and unfortunately, he’s managed to fool people into believing in him as the greatest thing since FDR! His cult of personality is incredibly far reaching. He has supporters of Israel believing he’s Israel’s best friend since Truman. He has the people his policies oppress the worst, literally singing his praises.

4) Obama has made it clear that his priority is to “fundamentally change” the USA. One way to do that is to create divisions of the population that haven’t been seen since the time of the Civil War. He is attempting to divide up by race, class, income, and even union members vs independent human beings. And in every case, he’s doing his best to vilify those who disagree with him. They’re not just wrong or mistaken. They’re EVIL for their views.

5) Along with that “fundamental change” mentioned above, I believe that the long term objective of the dems, beginning back in the 2000 elections, is to discredit the American electoral system. And the Obama campaign has thousands of lawyers ready to run to the courts to disrupt the election tally.

Under no circumstances should we believe this is going to be a cakewalk.

Mark

A blowout? I've been saying this for a couple months....even when things have looked grim and grimmer.

I've even said it about my state of Florida where I look for the GOP to sweep practically all state and national offices....local, too.....and this is still considered an up-for-grabs state.

There's a vast, silent, non-demonstrative majority out there across the fruited plain....waiting quietly to finally explode and be propelled to the polling places on election day in the desperate hopes that the Republicans can return our society to a sensible path toward prosperity and national confidence.

Basic self-preservation instincts will rule the day.

I predict that Romney will take the electoral college votes in all but a relative handful of the 57 states....and that there's going to be a lot of straight GOP ballots which augurs well for control of the House and Senate.

My political instincts may sometimes be wrong, but I don't think my instincts on human behavior in the face of financial ruin and cultural implosion is off the mark at all.

Self-preservation, whether physical or economic, will end up in a stunning victory when the polls close in towns and hamlets across the nation....wait and see.

“It Is Going To Be Romney By A Landslide”

No. It won’t be. Sorry to be the worry wort.

Romney has to pull off winning both Ohio and Florida, either of which he trails in now. Even if he is able to charge from behind, his victory will be by a modest margin, no landslide (at least in those states).

If he doesn’t win Virginia (not looking like he can), he will have to also win Colorado, Iowa, perhaps New Hampshire too — to make up for the loss of VA.

I don’t expect a landslide from Romney. Four months ago, the majority of posts on Free Republic regarding Romney were to the effect, “he can’t win against Obama”. The attitudes certainly have changed around here, have they not?

Frankly, I don’t care about a landslide.
I just want Mr. Romney to win.
And yes, I’ll be voting a straight Republican ticket November 6th. (Aside, I would vote the straight Republican ticket no matter who ended up on the ballot — I DO NOT vote for democrats.)
