Thanks! It looks like a very difficult pose to me but she works on her poses until she gets them. She’s like that with everything she does. She’s a junior in HS this year and all through HS she has maintained a 4.0 GPA and she takes all advanced classes, not the regular classes. I don’t know how she manages to keep her grades at a 4.0, do gymnastics and go to all the ballgames to perform in the color guard as captain but she does.
Keep them busy with activities they love and they don’t have as much time to get in trouble. :-)
It IS a difficult pose! A forearm stand requires a very strong upper body to support the weight, a consistently strong core, from upper body down to the hip flexors, and some measure of balance. Plus a heaping spoonful of confidence!
IF and I say IF I have it by Spring, I’ll count myself very lucky to have developed that much.
Not to mention, she is a lovely girl....
