A liberal is a man who will give away everything he doesn’t own.
Frank Dane
While I have a tendency to swear like a sailor at times, I refrain from utilizing vulgar language when I write. I think it demeans me as a writer and increases the possibility that I will offend some readers. Since I seek the largest audience possible, I would only be engaging in selfish and self-defeating behavior. But sometimes the subject demands that sort of language. This is just such a time.
As I read a wide variety of news sources, conduct my own research, explore and develop my social and political sense of being and put it all down on paper, I am struck by a recurring theme running throughout the Left or amongst the Libs, as I call them. They tend to exhibit truly hypocritical and narcissist behavior.
*************************************************************************************
a feigning to be what one is not or to believe what one does not; especially : the false assumption of an appearance of virtue or religion
************************************************************************************
With the rise of the self-esteem movement, begun in California, of course, they tend to believe that they are better than, are more compassionate and are generally superior to those on the Right and those who disagree with them. This narcissistic, self-congratulatory and totally self-serving behavior serves to bolster their inflated self-esteem. For example, just how many awards shows and festivals are devoted solely to entertainment and journalism? For example there are the Primetime Emmy Awards, the Academy Awards, the Grammys, the Daytime Emmys, Cannes Film Festival, MTV Video Music Awards, Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, the People’s Choice Awards, Golden Globe Awards, Teen Choice Awards, the Washington Press Association Awards, etc., Etc., ETC.; Self-aggrandizement and promotion at its most vulgar. Evidently we as culture buy it hook line and sinker.

Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental disorder in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance and a deep need for admiration. Those with narcissistic personality disorder believe that they’re superior to others and have little regard for other people’s feelings. But behind this mask of ultra-confidence lies a fragile self-esteem, vulnerable to the slightest criticism.
************************************************************************************
Below are just three examples of hypocritical and narcissistic behaviors from well-known people on the left. Can you spot the flawed logic given by all three?
Example #1:
At a Presidential town hall meeting on 2011-09-26, promoting the American Jobs Act in Mountain View, CA, a man stood up and said following to President Obama: “Thank you, Mr. President, I don’t have a job, but that’s because I’ve been lucky enough to live in Silicon Valley for a while and work for a small startup down the street here, that did quite well. So, I’m unemployed by choice. My question is: Would you please raise my taxes?” In addition, he also said the following: “I would like very much to have the country to continue to invest in things like Pell grants and infrastructure and job training programs that made it possible for me to get to where I am.” And the man finally said this. “It kills me to see Congress not supporting the expiration of the tax cuts that have been benefiting so many of us for so long. I think that needs to change and I hope that you’ll stay strong in doing that.” Turns out the man is Doug Edwards, Google’s 59th employee and he has donated $300,000 solely to Democratic campaigns.
Example #2:
The Buffett Rule, named after famed investor Warren Buffet. No household making more than $1 million each year should pay a smaller share of their income in taxes than a middle class family pays. This is the Buffett Rulea simple principle of tax fairness that asks everyone to pay their fair share. About 55,000 millionaires pay a lower effective tax rate than millions of middle-income.
In an ABC News interview comparing his tax rate with his secretary, Debbie Bosanek, Buffet said the following, I dont pay hardly any payroll taxes, Gov. Romney hardly pays any payroll taxes, Newt Gingrich hardly pays any payroll taxes. Debbie pays lots of payroll taxes. Buffett pays a rate at 17.4 percent while Bosanek pays a tax rate of 35.8 percent of income. This is a fallacious statement because Bufetts income is derived from capital gains, while his secretary pays payroll taxes. This year, the highest tax rate for ordinary income is 35% while the highest rate for long-term capital gains is 15%. If she earned income from investments, Bosanek would also be eligible to pay a lower tax rate.
Example #3:
In a recent Daily Beast article dated 2012-04-30 and entitled, Stephen King: Tax Me, for F@%&s Sake! The famed horror author is all hot and bothered and in a tizzy because he and the other super-rich dont pay enough taxes. He states that the majority of the super-rich, including himself, would rather douse their dicks with lighter fluid, strike a match, and dance around singing Disco Inferno than pay one more cent in taxes to Uncle Sugar.
In his rambling screed, he also complains that Chris Christie is fat, that just writing an extra check to the government is not enough but however, some 1-percenters do charitable giving. However, charitable giving on the right, like the Koch brothers doesnt count because they are right-wing creepazoids, but theyre giving right-wing creepazoids.
Furthermore, in his rambling screed, King states that he and his wife give away roughly $4 million a year to libraries, local fire departments that need updated lifesaving equipment (Jaws of Life tools are always a popular request), schools, and a scattering of organizations that underwrite the arts. And he also states that Bill Gates; so does Steven Spielberg; so do the Koch brothers; so did the late Steve Jobs. All fine as far as it goes, but it doesnt go far enough.
So to summarize, these fat-cats believe that the government does not have enough money to invest in all the wonderful entitlement programs that will help everyone else not lucky enough to a 1-percenter. I guess they believe that hard work just doesnt cut it anymore and that the only way to survive is to have us suck off the government teat. Evidently these guys are the last of the brainy and self-sufficient bunch.
This is total crap. These men are just hypocritical narcissists to the Nth degree. They dont even see the flaw in their logic. Or maybe they do and think we not smart enough to see through their lies. They NEVER talk about making the government more efficient by cutting waste and fraud. They dont talk about EVERYONE including those on social warfare and entitlement programs taking responsibility for their lives and exiting the programs as hastily as possible to be become productive members of society.
They also never discuss the fact their current income is derived from investments; long term capital gains and therefore pay a lower tax rate. Buffett also doesnt mention that he will donate 85% of vast fortune, approximately $30 BILLION to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; a private foundation, not a government agency.
I just want to say to these men and all the other men women who think like them: JUST SHUT UP ALREADY! Do you hear me? JUST SHUT UP ALREADY!
Go off and lead your lives the way you choose. I just ask no I demand, that you let me do the same. Stop volunteering my money when you have much of your own to spend or invest.
A TRUE LEADER LEADS BY EXAMPLE.
SO
JUST SHUT UP ALREADY!
Stop volunteering everyone elses money to the government. YOU think the government is a great place to send more invest YOUR money? Go ahead. Just write a check and shut up. No one is stopping you. For all he says, evidently Warren Buffett doesnt think the government is a good place to bequeath his fortune. I guess it really isnt a great place to invest ever all.
Are seriously telling me that your tax advisors are not taking advantage of EVERY TAX DEDUCTION possible? Give more to the government. No one is stopping you.
In fact you can cut checks to the following two addresses:
Gifts to the United States
U.S. Department of the Treasury

Hyattsville, MD 20782
Attn Dept G
Bureau of the Public Debt
P. O. Box 2188
Parkersburg, WV 26106-2188
So please do us all a big favor. Cut a check and just Shut Up.
Excellent rant! Thanks for posting it!
I guess he told THEM!!!
I recently had a conversation with a liberal woman regarding health care. I gave he some facts and said that we have a mess because the people we elect (for the most part) want a mess. She said it could all be fixed in no time if conservatives would learn to SHUT UP AND LISTEN.
Oh boy, do I second THAT! I am SO so sick and tired of just about everything they day that I have screaming fits at the TV.

Liberals extend the Tragedy of the Commons by giving away other people’s goods and money, not giving two sh1ts how this confiscation and redistribution affect those people - yet they are the very same ones who look around at their own handiwork that makes everyone poorer and brings more decay and less prosperity and work to communities and think the solution is to increase their efforts, never pausing to think maybe this worse outcome is the direct result of their efforts.
Liberal Welfare/Entitlements == Tragedy of the Commons - disaster
Beautiful. Bravo sir, bravo.
