A lack of consensus can destroy an organization from within. The lack of organization with the Tea Party has made it a great farce, yet as the Republican party moves further to the right, there's bound to be division between the conservatives and RINOs.
Perfect example: RNC Chair Reince Priebus on ABC's "This Week" called Harry Reid a "dirty liar" for his claims of Romney not having paid taxes for ten years.
Meanwhile, top GOP strategist Ed Rollins said on Fox News that Romney has to release more taxes, effectively succumbing to Harry Reid, but he made sure to note that Romney shouldn't respond to Reid's comments.
Rush Limbaugh has called for the FBI to investigate this (since whoever Reid's "sources" are have committed a felony,) what do you guys think? Should Romney keep stonewalling or release more taxes?
Read the article here, with the exact quotes of each mentioned person.
Tea Party a great farce? Tell that to Ted Cruz. Ed Rollin’s opinion matters now? LOL!
How about Barry Soetoro releases his Kenyan report cards.
When are these idiots going to realize that there is no "Tea Party", and that any attempts to co-op the name without accepting the ideology will fail.
Hopefully, they will see just how organized the "Tea Party" is on Election Day in November, when we come out in force and oust as many liberals and progressives as we possibly can.
The Tea Party is not a corruptible political party - it's the spirit of liberty, conservatism and Constitutionalism that lives in the hearts of free men and women.
Romney is sort or a stealth candidate. We really don’t know his full background nor what legislation he will push for as President. All we know is ‘he won’t do what Obama did’. That may be enough for some voters but others may want something more defined than a Etch-a-Sketch.
Cognitive Dissonance is such a Leftwing thing. On the one hand, the Tea Party is a farce. On the other hand, some magical force is moving the Republican party further to the right. Hmmmmmmmmmm. How perplexing that both of these things be true!
Maybe -- just maybe! -- the Tea Party isn't such a farce.
And maybe -- just maybe! -- some of the GOPe pundits are running scared about losing control of the party to the Tea Party mentality.
How did my comment get posted in this thread???? I was replying to a different one...
Ed Rollins is past his prime a needs to go away.....I hope Romney avoided as many taxes as is possible. The less this bunch of marxist pull in the better. Personally I don’t care if he avoids them legally are not!!!
Ooops. Never mind. Correct thread...
I did it!!!
No, the GOP is not polarized about this. The leftist press is obsessed on this non-issue, though.
Romney should only release tax information after Obama unseals his own records: sealed under Obama Executive Order 13489. Obama has been hiding behind this executive order for every day of his administration.
It is my hope that Romney does not cave to this orchestrated attack. I care a lot more about how much my taxes are than Romney’s, and obama and obamacare will see to it that nine will end up in the punitive category.
The smuck that wrote this piece is blatantly in obamas pocket.
This “disorganized” TEA Party has certainly put the hurt on the left since 2010’ and will continue to do so. There is no one person in the TEA Party for them to “Alinsky-Ize” and they’re learning that - like herding cats - demonizing them is next to impossible. They’re preaching to their own choir.
I’m not concerned about Romney’s taxes in any way, shape or form.
I’m worried about the malevolent communist in the white house.
The Tea Party ain’t a party, it’s voters who are fed up with the big-government/big-corporate criminal monopoly known as Washington, DC.
Must be a satire piece since no serious author could write such clueless drivel.
Love the smell of Democrat desperation. Say any lie, write any smear, demagogue endlessly in a hysteric effort to keep the focus off Obama’s 4 year record of incompetence and corruption
