From My Cold Dead Hand!!!
The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.
-Thomas Jefferson
As you read the first lines of this post you may think Geez Jay enough with the gun control issue already!" Well my friends todays post really isnt about that at all its about the bigger picture of our given rights and how we are systematically loosing them rapidly.
Yes thats right your losing them faster than you think. Our rights are important. They are the backbone of our country. Its why 25,700 people died! All for the sake of this document.
So what do you really know about your rights?
If I asked you today, could you tell me what the Bill of Rights (the first 10 amendments of the constitution) said or summarize it for me could you?

The second is NOT about hunting! It has nothing to do with sporting and everything to do with defending yourself and you God-given liberties against government encroachment.
You need to go through that blog slowly, one word at a time, and proofread it. Glaring errors in spelling and composition might not be noticed by everyone, but they diminish the credibility of the author.
Hey n00b! If you think your collection of words is worth reading, why did you excerpt?
Loose the hounds!
See S&A's reply number eight. 'nuff said.
LOL
A picture and all that
With all due respect, Jay, learn to write before posting more of your stuff.
For one thing, your column implies Americans fought the Revolution to protect the Bill of Rights.
Which of course did not exist till well after the end of the Revolution.
Oddly, your claim would be somewhat accurate if you expanded it. The Revolution was essentially fought to defend against what Americans saw as threats to their freedoms which were largely spelled out in the 1689 Bill of Rights as passed after the Glorious Revolution in Britain. I doubt one American in 100 is familiar with this original Bill of Rights, but those rights are what we fought for in the Revolution.
As Americans we have been given more individual rights through the US Constitution than any other citizens in this world have.
Not fair.
The UN has always been trying to ‘level the playing field’, not so much by trying to obtain more rights for others, but by trying to diminish the rights established for American citizens.
Wake up folks, this is the whole idea of the ‘one world government’ BS that both dhimmicrat and GOP politicians and presidents advocate. The UN is all about UN supremacy paid for with American contributions.
