Why would Americans buy 150,000 more guns last month than a year ago? All told, gun sales, which skyrocketed in 2008 in advance of the presidential election then fell back somewhat to normal in 2009, are up 27% overall this year compared with 2011 numbers.

What would happen if a liberal Supreme Court deemed the Constitution irrelevant? Oh yeah.

Where is the corresponding spike in murders, blood in the streets, etc.?

You mean other than them invalidating governments only claim to legitimate power? Ya...I'm not sure they are ready for the repercussions of that.

I fail to understand how a treaty with a corrupt organization like the UN can simply throw out our rights under the Second Amendment. How can this be constitutional? Could a UN treaty also take away the right of free speech by placing place US Internet and media content under a UN commission? Could the rights of US citizens to speedy trial, trial by jury and our 5th Amendment Rights be similarly signed away by a treaty giving international courts jurisdiction in the US? If the US Constitution and Bill of Rights can simply be signed away by treaties with foreign governments we have no national sovereignty and our whole constitutional system of government can be signed away by whim.
To: The Great RJ
Relinquishing our sovereignty to the UN is exactly what the Democrat Obama-led commies are determined to do.

Why would Americans buy 150,000 more guns last month than a year ago? Hot weather...people go boating....boating accidents....people need to restock. Does that answer it?

That’s the ticket. Roll your own. 125 gr JHP sitting on top of some 2400 was one of my fave loads when I ran a .357
