I will not vote for Marco Rubio as Vice President if Mitt Romney selects him to run on his ticket. He is NOT constitutionally eligible to be President or Vice President, and I would be a damn hypocrite in holding my ire and giving him my vote after working as hard as possible to educate people on Barack Obama’s ineligibility.
Call me a Birther, call me a Tea Party hick, call me an “extremist” or racist, I could give a flying forgery. I just don’t care anymore. I’m not going to be like one of those liberals who complain about the rich not paying more taxes and not voluntarily putting their money where there mouth is. And conservatives have constantly compromised on principle to the point where most Americans don’t think there is much difference in the spending habits of either party.
If you consider yourself a conservative – let me advise you that you can’t buy back your integrity when it’s convenient.

The Dirty little Secret Of The Natural Born Citizen Clause Revealed.
I have emphasized the word little because the truth of the law on this issue is very simple, folks. So simple that the mystery is deciphered by application of one of the most clear, concise and undeniable rules of law; the code of statutory construction governs, and therefore, natural born Citizen must require something more than being born in the United States.
Let me put it to you in appropriately simple language:
Clause A = Only a natural born Citizen may be President.
Clause B = Anyone born in the United States is a Citizen.
(While these two clauses reflect Article 2, Section 1, and the 14th Amendment, I shall refer to them as Clause A and Clause B for now.)
The code of statutory construction is learned by every student in law school, and every practicing attorney has confronted it. Every judge is required to apply the rule equally to all statutes, and the Constitution. There is no wiggle room at all. The rule states that when a court examines two clauses, unless Congress has made it clear that one clause repeals the other, the court must observe a separate legal effect for each. More specifically, regardless of the chronology of enactment, the general clause can never govern the specific.
Clause B is a general rule of citizenship, which states that all persons born in the country are members of the nation.
Clause A is a specific clause that says only those members of the nation who are natural born may be President.
According to the rule of statutory construction, the court must determine that Clause A requires something more than Clause B.
Its truly that simple. ...

Er.. I’m not Politijim.
Or any kind of blogger at all.
Not this crap again.
STAY OFF HIS THREADS!
He was born here in the U.S. so he can be VP and President. Anyone who tells me someone who was actually born here in the U.S. is someone who is not in the least knowledgeable about what it is to be an American.
Vote for Obama and shut up. Stop trying to get other freepers to vote for him too.
You sicken me.
I’m starting to believe these people are subversives.

CAPLM!! (Cerebro Abajo Pensar Lo Mismo)
I will.
What the hell does that even mean?
Speak English.
Thank you dear comrade.
-Sincerely,
Chairman Obama.
Well said.
So who really cares...it’s just another vote for OBozo.
Then, who exactly do you imagine will?
Wow. This must be the first time I’ve seen you NOT spam a threRRad. Maybe Rubio is good for us, after all.
Until the Supreme Court rules specifically on the question of natural born citizen as it applies to eligibility to hold the office of president, there will be disagreement among very smart constitutional people as to the meaning.
It is true that somebody with US Citizen parents is considered to be natural born, but nothing I’ve read tells me that’s the only criteria. There are other cases that show a person born in the United States to be “natural born” regardless of the citizenship of their parents.
For now, thanks to Obama’s election, the standard is “born in the USA”. Until the court rules otherwise, I will vote for a Romney/Rubio ticket.
I’ll make this simple. If you were born here in the U.S. you are a citizen and can run for any office no matter what anyone else thinks.
Anyone who thinks you cannot will be laughed at by the population.
Then you and your ilk have clearly decided that 4 more years of Obama and his communist followers is good enough for you. I hope America is still here after 4 more years of Obama so you can share your very limited wisdom with us next time. I am very conservative, so please don’t tell me that only a RINO would vote for Romney. I did not support Romney in the primaries, but I will vote for him in the general election because Obama must be stopped. By not voting, you are helping Obama win and for that, I have absolutely no respect.
Well said. Thank you!
He was born to two parents legally in America. I agree with Mark Levin that Marco is eligible. In fact, I will think Romney politically stupid if he chooses someone else. Rubio will actually excite the base more than Romney ever could.
And spare me, e-d-c, that's a rhetorical question. SHEESH!
