He was born to two parents legally in America. I agree with Mark Levin that Marco is eligible. In fact, I will think Romney politically stupid if he chooses someone else. Rubio will actually excite the base more than Romney ever could.

I agree. Romney is boring enough. Puh-lezzze no Pawlenty or
Portman (whom I couldn’t recognize anyway). I can tolerate amesty
as promoted by Rubio if we stop the flow.

Rubio already alienated the Republican party base. The GOP-e may think he's a top candidate, but hard as it might be for some to believe, the base doesn't like Romney, and they now dislike Rubio.
That's hardly a formula for victory.
