Lapdog AP reporter Jordy Yager writes: Rep. Issa might not have the votes to push forward Holder contempt charge>
Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) might not have the votes in his own committee to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress.
A number of Republicans on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee are wary of moving forward with Issas proposed measure, putting the powerful chairman in an awkward position as he attempts to build support for the move. . .
Two of the committees 23 Republicans have declined to support the measure at this point, while five other GOP panel members did not respond to repeated requests for comment over the last two weeks.
When compared with the 16 Republicans on the committee who have actively been speaking in favor of the measure, the silence, lack of outspoken support and desire by these eight GOP caucus members to avoid the issue could be a problem for Issa.
Republican leadership has been hesitant and reluctant to voice its support for Issas move, possibly owing to the chairmans inability to guarantee the measures passage in his own committee. . .

The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
Gotta change all the GOP leadership and power structure.
We need to be ringing Bohner and ALL OF THEM In COngress’ phones off the hook regarding this!
Please GOD Boehner gets primaried!!!!!!!!! What a complete spineless RINO ZERO he is! He does far better sitting ina bar, drinking and weeping!
I am not sure what a contempt citation would do other than to refer the matter to US Atty Office for the DC. I am sure he’s going to go after his boss.
1. They’re spineless weaklings - aka as panstwetting neutered wabbits.
2. They’re paid off.
3. They’ve been threatened - see #1.
4. They just want to ride the gravy train until the wheels fall off without disturbing their hairdos.
What do you think? Why doesn’t this “leadership” act like this? Boehner is more revolting than the Dems. Reminds me of the fool coward in “Saving Private Ryan” who wouldn’t bring the ammunition and caused so many deaths because of his cowardice.
We saw the removal of two RINO NRC committee members in Michigan the other day. Tea Partiers, Conservative republicans and libertarians joined forces and drove out the two GOPe clowns who represent Michigan on the national committee.

It needs to happen in 49 more states.
They won’t do anything, they will make some political hay but they won’t do what needs to be done.
If I was a Democrat, I'd commit crimes too. Only a fool thinks the Republicans will actually go the wire to defend the rule of law.
Spineless Republicans ready to cave once more.
This is the one and only thing that the DemocRats do well. Do you think if this were the Bush Administration being investigated by the likes of Ratface Waxman, Stretch Pelosi and John ‘Corrupt’ Conyers that this would be dropped? NOT A CHANCE IN H#LL!
With all the corruption that all the Dims possess at least they put up a fight. The Repubs - Not so much as a whimper.
As far as I am concerned this is exactly where the rubber meets the road. Any pubbie that does not support Issa and Grassley on this should immediately be the target of a retirement campaign.
Starting with boehner.
Chickens and rinos need not apply to congress at this critical time in our nations history. We need people capable of heavy lifting to right the ship of state. Vote the weaklings out.
Boehner is an embarrassment
I have utter contempt for John Boehner. He is as useful as tits on a bull.
“Two of the committees 23 Republicans have declined to support the measure at this point, while five other GOP panel members did not respond to repeated requests for comment over the last two weeks.”
Names?! What are their yellow-bellied pantywaist worthless sleazebag names?!
We’ve got to go for the power positions. Virtually the entire NRC needs an overhaul and its relatively easy to do with a few hundred dedicated tea partiers in each state.
Hey ChildOfThe60s,
Great pic! So sad, but true! Spineless repubs...gotta go!
He’s always looked to me like he spends lottsa’ time in a tanning bed........a useless caspar milquetoast prettyboy!
It’s a mystery to me how he is such a total loss when it comes to standing up to the ...rats, but has no problem stonewalling his own people, such as Issa and Grassley......unless it’s all a charade (a wink and a nod).....and nobody ever INTENDED for it to go anywhere. When crap like this continues long enough I start getting suspicious. Can’t Boner be put on notice by his fellow-Republicans that he’d better straighten up and fly right? And why HASN’T it happened?!
