Statistics show a deep divide in opinions along racial lines regarding the killing of a black Florida teenager, Trayvon Martin, by George Zimmerman, who is of mixed ethnicity, white and Hispanic.
Zimmerman has claimed self-defense, invoking the Sunshine States Stand Your Ground law which has also come under intense scrutiny in the wake of the incident.
Reuters news service reported last week, 91% of blacks believe Martin was unjustly killed, while only 35% of whites concurred. Hispanics were in between at 59% according to polling numbers Reuters gathered by querying nearly 2,000 Americans.
The disparity of views over Martins death is even less ambiguous than another racially charged case, the O.J. Simpson murder trial.

Significantly nonexistent afterwards was rioting, looting and burning of businesses, or attacks on hapless victims. After all, a black man had received justice, so-called.
Not so when the jury in the trial of police officers involved in the beating of defiant motorist Rodney King in Los Angeles failed to elicit the verdicts minorities were clamoring for.
In the days following that trial, blacks and Hispanics took to the streets of the L.A. basin killing, burning, rampaging, and robbing, feeling they had been denied justice...

Not exactly unexpected.

We don’t need a black man to figure this one out. Anything short of a conviction will produce riots. That’s the point. (at least that’s what Obama is working towards)
Is it surprisimg that a statistically-more-violent race utters threats about doing violence if things don’t go their way?
The defense should run out the clock on the Obama administration.
All righty then. Lets just abandon the trial and throw him to the baying mobs. /
So, does that mean they are going to commit slightly more violent crimes than usual?
Mr. Black writer, just to let you know, I’m going to stand my ground if you choose to aftermath.
Fair warning.
The wicked can burn our cities to the ground. If we give into their extortion, then what good are those cities, anyway?
“Comments?”

It means, lynch him, or we riot.
I think.
“We gonna kill Whitey!”
Very typical.
Any questions?
A conviction means a riot, too. Dem homies jus needin fo fun. Les go flash mob, bro!
If violence is what some group wants...that is not unreasonable. The civilized world is unaccustomed to violence...but it is not unaware of it. We are not unwilling to protect ourselves.
The civilized world is perfectly capable of defending itself against neo-African barbarism! Bring it on...we are most certainly armed!
Obama has forewarned us of this likelihood...we know how he hates us and America.
We are ready (damned shame for those who will die)...but we are ready!
Anything, anything that happens will be laid at the door of ABC, NBC, CNN and all those media outlets that purported outrages lies! Any injury, any death, any destruction of property those outlets should be sued back to crystal radio days.
Then too, why a trial? He was already tried and convicted in the lying media.
Does that percentage include white-hispanics, or just non-white hispanics??
We can only hope they start in Detroit.
I have no doubt. Rodney King. OJ Simpson. But ... justice and riots is better than injustice and peace.
I don’t know if Zimmerman should be convicted. Facts are ambiguous at best. Let the trial run its course.
I’m quite sure that Hispanics won’t riot if he’s convicted, though. Says a lot that they expect riots if he’s acquitted.

I wouldn’t blame them. They are upset about the unknown fate of the priceless violin that Trayvon carried coming home from a lesson with Yo Yo Ma.
