Timing is everything. Obama’s threats to the court only started AFTER they had made their preliminary ruling on Friday. It’s obvious that he waited for the ruling, not wanting to interfere with a possible positive result (from his viewpoint). But once it the ruling went the other way, it became time to start to ‘influence’ the court.

Don’t be surprised if one of the conservatives has an ‘accident’ or his son or grand son goes ‘missing’.

The college Constitution professor is DEAD WRONG on the Constitution. The scenario he describes is not reality. Bribes to Congressional members, parliamentary parlor tricks, and one body “deeming” that the other passed bills are not what the framers had in mind. He obviously didn't study the concept of “checks and balances”, or dismissed it along with his disdain of the Constitution as a “charter of negative liberties”.
