Bad Newt - Used 30 Minutes of Megan Kellys On-air Time To Discuss his GA win and the GOP Primary.
Consensus of the Fox panel: Good grief!! Newt took 30 minutes to make his points!!! (30 minutes of not talking about Mitts Super Tuesday).
And what was up with Fox News not running the GA vote totals on the ticker strip?
Sarah Palin disclosed to Neil Cavuto that she voted for the cheerful one. (Newt)
Newt Gingrich picked up 69 additional delegates. His total to date 102 delegates. (By my count, he had 33 going into Super Tuesday and picked up 46 in GA, 2 in ND, 13 in OK and 8 in TN)
Larry Sabatos pronouncement early in the evening that the VA GOP Primary ballot was rigged to help Romney, shockingly was given air time. A two-man field gave Mitt the majority win and 43 delegates.
Speaking of Mitt helping (going by the GOPs own rules) the FL delegates should not have been winner take all, but rather proportional since the FL GOP moved their primary before March 1 (They were docked 30 delegates which Im sure they hope the GOP will forgive and return to Mitt but they refused to adhere to the March 1 = proportional delegates. This would have given Newt many more delegates.) Word is this issue will be resolved at the convention.
Near the close of Foxs coverage, it was very petty (but becoming his closing signature zinger) of Brit Hume to read a David Axelrod tweet saying that Mitt had just eked out a win in Ohio (Brit announced that tweet proved the Democrats dont want to face Mitt and would much rather face Newt or Rick).
In fact, the entire night of Fox coverage was a vision of dismissal, mocking and annoyance with Newt Gingrich.
Fox News is carrying a ton of bias baggage for Mitt Romney.
The question now: Can Fox News drag Mitt into the GOP winners circle?
March 10th -- KS Caucus (40 del)
March 13th -- AL Primary (47) AND MS Primary (37)
March 15th to 24th MO Caucus (49)
March 20th IL Loophole Primary (69)
March 24th LA Primary (18)
And so on
.
As of 15 minutes ago, neither Fox News nor CNN were displaying the Georgia results at the ticker at bottom of screen, despite Georgia being the biggest state last night. I would be even more offended if I was from GA. I just fired off two emails to Fox News about this blatant suppression of truth. This is something one would expect in a third world country.
Fox News - RIGGED!
So sick of their rah, rah, rah for Rahhhhmney!!!
It’s disgusting!
Romney will NOT beat Obama. I’ll bet the Dems want clean and squeaky Romney because they already have the dirt to kill his campaign!!
LOL, even MSNBC is showing Newt with a lot more delegates than Fox is.
I cannot believe so many people have drunk the kool-aid.
There is so much political and relationship inbreeding between Big Media, K-Street and Wall Street, coupled with “job protecting” and access, not to mention, their always reliable stupidity.
If anyone cares to ask why Fox has blacked out the GA Poll numbers on their screen crawl....
Fox News is one additional reason to reject Mitt Romney in the general election.
Our only hope for the republican party is a brokered convention. Otherwise, I will go on board with the Constitution Party and get in their attempt to build a real conservative party in America.
I’m sick of this.

Newt Gingrich MUST battle forward because the GOP will kill Rick the second Newt retreats. It may look ugly but Rick and Newt are killing the Establishment's choice -- CONSERVATIVES are holding the line this time.
Heck, the more I see of Santorum, I’m not sure I even prefer him over Romney. Santorum is going to scare the crap out of a large swath of the electorate in the general election.
As of now, CNN is displaying the GA results, while Fox is still boycotting GA.
........”Sarah Palin revealed late on Super Tuesday that she voted for Newt Gingrich in the Alaska caucuses.
After declining to reveal to a CNN reporter which 2012 candidate she voted for, Palin said in a later interview with a Fox News host that she had cast her ballot for the cheerful one........
Who can best bust through that radical lefts kind of dispensation and desire to mistreat those who are defenseless, mistreat those who perhaps have some disadvantages by making them more beholden to government? Who best can contrast themselves from that? she continued. I thought who best could do that [and] my own personal opinion is, the cheerful one, is Newt Gingrich. I have appreciated what he has stood for, stood boldly for.
Gingrich had chosen the word cheerful when asked in a February GOP debate to pick one word to define himself.”.....

Santorum would be a much better president than Romney if we could just appoint him. I don't have any doubt that Rick is more conservative. But yeah, the real problem with Santorum is he would lose in a massive landslide and take our House majority down with him. He'd be a horrible general election candidate who would scare off nearly every moderate, indie and youn(er) voter who will consider the GOP for economic issues but be repelled by Santorum's social crusading.
Romney will likely lose narrowly. Santorum would lose in a crushing landslide. Newt gives us the best chance to change the dynamics and pull out a win.
And another thing that ticks me off about the media is that, despite all their exit polls and hordes of pundits, they did not at all cover the surge that Newt had in the last week. He was way behind in TN and OK a couple weeks ago, and surged at least 20 points. What hurt him in TN and OK was the early votes. If there wasn’t so much early voting, he might have won OK and contended for the lead in TN.
As of this Morning Delegates Pledged or Banked. Still 58 Real delegates to be decided from Super Tuesday.
Mittens 326
Newt 97
Santorum 87
Paul 21
But when it gets to the Convention 80 of Mittens 326 will be Challenged. If Newt Withdraws Mittens gets all 50 from FL no challenge. If Santorum withdraws Mittens will get all 30 from AZ & MI no challenge.
50 FL
29 AZ
1 MI
Well then where is the delegates for Iowa, Colorado, Minnesota, Maine, & North Dakota. Those delegates want be decided to that states convention. The states get a Huge bonus if they vote for the winner. My guess at it stands now most of them will go to mittens.
Newt’s speech last night was in fact only 2 minutes and 46 seconds longer than Santorum’s, and well short of a half-hour.
Thanks! Another Fox “talent” put down of Newt, that they pulled from thin air!
Newt 97 = 105. I believe that is the current total.
Only NEWT can beat anybody DECISIVELY as he put it.
Then why does he come in 3rd?
I thought his southern strategy might have been a good idea, but losing Tennesse and Oklahoma kind of put a damper on that. It's all about the numbers and the way forward.
Santorum is the only one who can both take out Romney and Obama. I don’t doubt Newt can beat Obama but he can’t get past Mitt—Santorum can.

There we go. It may not be what you want, but if we don’t start going this way soon, we’ve got our Rominee. Is voting for a losing newt going to have been worth it? The polls are not perfect but except for right after a big debate or gaffe they are pretty accurate.
