Seems you have a lot of catching up to do regarding this subject.

We located Hawaii had a Christian name law since the 19th century.

This law was valid in 1961. All children born in Hawaii must have a Christian name.

Some say Barack is not a Christian name. Some say the law was not really maintained.

Duncan is another example the name law was enforced.

Would you still have a link to that information please? I would be interested to learn if that meant Christian Name or FIRST NAME.

Thanks for filling me in. I do have a lot of catching up to do. I haven’t had time to keep up. I didn’t understand the reason his name mattered.

As for the edit, you’re right; I wonder what they took out? Probably something to protect the man, if he said something untoward. I noticed that he was being careful about saying it was his opinion (about the numbers).
