(Jan. 1, 2012) On January 3, 2012, several members of the New Hampshire House of Representatives will hold a press conference with the primary purpose of informing New Hampshire citizens and registered voters that Barack Hussein Obama may not be eligible to serve as president and therefore should not have his name appear on the 2012 presidential ballot.
The time and place are tentatively set for 10:00 a.m. outside of the Legislative Office Building in Concord.

Thanks. I hope you have a great 2012 also.
I’m working a couple jobs now so things have been really crazy.
This is the first state to do this. There will be more. It may be the man’s undoing.
I believe they were both foreign Muslims, so there would be no reason for them to oppose Obama, who reportedly told the Egyptian ambassador that he was and still is a Muslim who supports the Muslim agenda and that he would focus on the worldwide Muslim agenda once he had taken care of “domestic issues” (i.e. Obamacare).
Considering that the worldwide Muslim agenda is the destruction of America and Israel and the institution of a worldwide caliphate under sharia, we have only to look at what happened once Obama got Obamacare shoved down our throats -Arab Spring and how our former secular Mideastern allies against terrorism are falling to radical Islamist governments - to see that was the one promise Obama has made good on.
I would think the legislators would have standing, since their job depends on an oath to uphold the US Constitution. Especially if there was a move to sue or impeach them as having violated that oath, they would have real and unique damages from Constitutional answers being denied.
nope - there is a supreme court case, and it was decided unanimously and precedent - 2 citizen parents are required for natural born status.
Justia.com tried to cover up the case - going back to 2008.
the case is Minor V Heppersett.
Thanks! Do you know where I can find Rules 7, 10, and 11, that they refer to?
The titles of the rules are listed on the cover page of Orly’s complaint.
I wonder if Jenn will be participating in this????
Parents travel to foreign countries and give birth all the time. We have Freepers here that have been born all over the world to American citizens, and are American citizens. We are allowed to travel and give birth.
If Romneys grandparents became Mexicans, we would see the papers renouncing US citizenship and naturalizing as Mexicans. We don't because it didn't happen. That's why its murky.
I am familiar with the Minor V Heppersett case ... I should have said “current sitting Judiciary” as every level has had a case concerning Obama and ducked the issue each and every time.
This is getting interesting. Papers in NH will report this and its going to spread.
How far it spreads and how fast it spreads is the question. I have been a student of politics for 40 years, and it doesn't get better than this.
Allegations of rape by President Clinton, Nixon covering up a burglary. Now a Kenyan Indonesian citizen becomes president, blows 5 trillion dollars, on loan, and drops the US credit rating a notch. That tops the list. It takes the cake.
I sort of doubt it—she’s not feeling too well these days.........
I’m not an expert on this kind of stuff and only passed along the comment I found on a blog.
But I followed your link, Brown Deer, and discovered something interesting: Gaskell Romney and Amelia Ann Pratt (George Romney’s parents) were both born in the territory of Utah, as it did not become a state until 1896. They were married in Mexico (1895) the year before statehood was declared for Utah.
(When Barry Goldwater was running for President, a huge deal was made by the Democrats over the fact he was born in the Arizona Territory and not in the United States proper. I wonder what will happen if Romney gets the nomination: would this be perceived as protection for Obama over the natural born citizen question?)
“I don’t think that you can lose your U.S. citizenship by breaking a law...”
True, and I agree with your statement above. But the couple left the Utah Territory because they refused to be a part of the U.S. and obey its anti-polygamy laws.
How does one go about finding out if they became Mexican citizens?
As to George Romney, if his parents had beome Mexican citizens and he was born there, wouldn’t that automatically make him a Mexican citizen too?
According to Ancestry.com, both Gaskell and Amelia returned to the U.S. and died in Salt Lake City, UT.
If George Romney had dual citizenship, which I think highly unlikely, would that in any way affect his son’s status as a natural born citizen?
Mitt Romney claims that the family lawyers have said everything concerning citizenship is OK, but a rich man can hire a lawyer to say just about anything is OK!
butterdezillion wrote: “The people filing suit are NH legislators. The NH courts refused to hear the case.
What do you call that?”
New Hampshire Law, or as they call them, “Revised Statutes Annotated”.
http://www.sos.nh.gov/rsa665.htm
“The decision of the ballot law commission in such cases shall be final as to questions both of law and fact, and no court shall have jurisdiction to review such decision.”
Gee, maybe those NH legislators should write to their representatives about getting that changes. Oh, wait...
Yeah, but they fought a Revolution, while Gaskell and Amerlia fled to another nation.
You’re still evading my main question: did they become Mexican citizens, and how does someone go about finding that out?
I believe that if they had renounced their U.S. citizenship and become Mexican citizens, that someone would have discovered this within the past one hundred years since they returned to this country.
Clarification: just because a child is born overseas it does not automatically mean the child of U.S. citzen parents is recognized as having U.S. citizenship.
A poster here at FR was shocked when his daughter turned 18 and wasn’t recognized as a U.S.citizen. Born overseas when he was in the military, he and his wife had assumed the baby would automatically be a U.S. citizen. Big mistake.
A child’s birth overseas to U.S. parents must be registered with the U.S. Embassy. It has probably been this way for some length of time.
Mexico may not have recognized George Romney as a citizen of Mexico, but did his parents do anything to assure their son had U.S. citizenship?
George Romney wanted to run for President, but dropped out for some reason.
Someone may have found out. It has been quite some time so who knows how much evidence is missing, or if it even existed.
One thing for sure - if it wasn’t for a revolution in Mexico, I doubt the Romneys would have come back to the U.S.
