The mainstream media has reported this as the "Santa killer." No mention that it was an Islamic honor killing until this Dallas Morning News story. Our daughters and granddaughters are going to be the ones who will suffer because of for this obfuscation and excusal of barbarism.
This has been going on for years. When Amina and Sarah Said were brutally murdered by their father, also in Texas, on New Year’s Day 2008 for the same reason -- having non-Muslim boyfriends -- I thought, this is it. This is going to break the dam wide open. America would not, could not possibly, ignore this horror caused by and sanctioned by Islamic beliefs, assumptions, and attitudes.
And yet America continues to ignore this horror. And more and more people are victimized every day.
Aziz Yazdanpanah, a Muslim, didn't like his daughter's non-Muslim boyfriend and was exhibiting stalker behavior. “She couldn’t date at all until she was a certain age, but when he was going to let her date she couldn’t date anyone outside of their race or religion.”
Again and again we have seen honor killings in which fathers kill daughters who are dating non-Muslims or have supposedly besmirched the family honor by some sexual indiscretion. Lt. Todd Dearing says that motive isn't important -- which is generally only the case when Islam is involved.

a more ominous portrait emerged of Yazdanpanah in interviews with some of his daughter’s other classmates.
“She would come to school crying and telling us her dad was crazy,” said Lacie Reed, 18. “He wouldn’t let her wear certain things. He was always taking her phone away, checking her call history and checking her text messages.”
Friends said Nona’s father had installed cameras all around the home so he could watch the family’s comings and goings. Others said he nailed her bedroom window shut so she could not sneak out at night and see her boyfriend.
“She couldn’t date at all until she was a certain age, but when he was going to let her date she couldn’t date anyone outside of their race or religion,” Reed said.
This doesn’t have any of the marks of an ‘honor killing’ other than the perp was apparently a Muslim male. The name is Iranian.
Do we know for sure the family was Muslim? They were celebrating Christmas, with a tree, and gifts and wrapping all found at the massacre site. Not only was the daughter killed as is the norm for ‘honor killings, but everyone in the apartment, including the perp.
Whatever is being said now on the memorial Facebook site, yesterday the daughter’s best friend was quoted talking about how the dad was such a great guy. Lots of quotes about him being a ‘good guy’ and that those who knew him were shocked. Too many conflicting stories on this for any to have credibility yet.

But Mr. Shafia’s two and a half hours of examination-in-chief was riddled with inconsistencies. At one point, for instance, he said he and Ms. Yahya had been at the Kingston Mills area before, apparently meaning on other holidays; at another, he said he’d never seen the area until Kingston Police showed him the accident scene.
And despite his self-portrait as a loving and kind father whose daughters called him “daddy,” it was evident he was still furious that Sahar had a boyfriend and that she and Zainab were dressing in short skirts.
“I was not happy with this,” he said of his purported discovery, after the four died, of a photo of Sahar with a boy’s arms around her. “I didn’t expect this of my children.”
Mr. Kemp put to him some of the most damaging statements Mr. Shafia made on police wiretaps which are now exhibits at trial – notably his furious wish that “the devil s—- on their graves.”
So, it's not unusual for Muslim men to kill their wives' sisters and their husbands while they're 'honor killing' their own daughters?

A father dressed as Santa Claus arrived to his family’s Christmas party with two guns, executed his entire family and then killed himself — and planned the entire thing, police said Tuesday.
Police believe the Christmas Day massacre in Grapevine, which left seven people dead still surrounded by Christmas presents and wrapping paper, was premeditated, Grapevine Police Sgt. Robert Eberling said.
Eberling would not officially identify the shooter or the victims, family friends identified the gunman as Aziz “Bob” Yazdanpanah. Last ear, a bank foreclosed on Yazdanpanah’s house, and he separated from his wife in the spring.
Yazdanpanah’s wife and two children are believed to be among the dead.
The gunman had some prior dealings with at least two other police departments but not Grapevine Police, according to Eberling. He did not say what kind of dealings, or when or how many incidents there were.
Totally agree. Every country in the Western world is committing quick cultural suicide by allowing in a flood of foreigners from non-Western countries.
Acclimation to a new culture usually takes a couple of generations, even when the immigrant parents are determined to adopt the new country as their homeland.
Some countries, such as France, have had such liberal admission policies, that they now have huge swaths of their country that are essentially foreign soil. We've got that to a large degree in many of our major Southwestern cities.

Maybe, maybe not. There’s also a bankrupcy, a foreclosure and a marital separation involved. Doubtless, paternal possessiveness may be involved as well, but “honor killing” usually doesn’t involve gunning down whole families. Maybe Geller is right, but it’s best to wait for the full story before slapping a label on it.
The wacko husband, Muslim or not, offing his estranged wife is, yes, I believe, more likely to kill her extended family members than his. They are likely to have taken “her side” in his eyes and thus be complicit in what he perceives to be the reason he is killing her.

I think once the projected ratio of Muslims (based on birth rates)is 5% of the population we need to say no more can come in. Once they get to 10% they have a religious duty to try to push sharia, which is the point at which they cannot have allegiance to the US Constitution any more. I think we need to recognize that at 10% they cease to be a religion and become enemies of the Constitution, according to their own teachings.
That teaching would give a basis to deny immigration without discriminating on the basis of religion, since the teaching itself is that the threshold of 10% marks the point at which their “religion” turns into political subversion against the Constitution. Below 10% it’s a religion; above 10% it’s a national security threat.
I've used that same analogy in times past, to make the point that non-assimilation by immigrants is suicidal for a nation.
So his solution was to kill her, and the rest of her family? Yeah, that makes sense, in a moon god-worshiping sort of way...
