Ginger White, who today announced that she had a thirteen-year affair with Herman Cain, was the defendant in a libel suit this year. A judge ruled in favor of the plaintiff, Kimberly Bay, and stated that Ms. White had falsely libeled Ms. Bay. Ms. White reportedly lost the suit because she did not even bother responding to the case.
Ms. Bay had also sought a temporary stalking protective order against Ms. White, citing harassing emails, texts, and defamation of character. This case, however, was dismissed.
When asked about the libel suit in her interview with Fox Five, and why she should be trusted, Ms. White responded, "Well, because I admit it. Whatever happened with Kim and I, um, happened. Just as, what, what, there would make no sense to come out with these allegations against Herman if it absolutely wasn't true."

Frankly, I don’t give a damn what you two think.
Newt Gingrich is turning out to be a flaming RINO, and Gov.Perry in no more eloquent today than he was a few weeks ago.
Your childish boorish kindergarten debating style and commentary shames you. You are making this about me = I am not the one with a long trail of what seems like a cross between a drunk frat boy tantrum and a redneck from the woods of Deliverance rant. Them’s your words. And they are all out there to see.
That you don’t know, or care, about my credentials is irrelevant. This is about you.
It means we honor the American tradition of “innocent until proven guilty.”
Meanwhile, your conscience offers you no protection against contributing to slander and lies.
Well then they are still right for having defended an "authentic" conservative against the mean old media. Don't ya see man, they can't be wrong!
We don't know yet (or perhaps ever) if the allegations are true, but there are certainly a lot of them for a guy who claimed he had no skeletons in his closet. At minimum, Cain is going to have to offer a good explanation about this 13 year friendship that involved financial assistance to a woman his wife never heard of.
At least Perry understands the questions!
I would do my due diligence before I started with the doom and gloom.
It really is not a good reflection on many folks around FR.
My only question is, does she have more or less credibility than Larry Sinclair?
It seems like a real possibility after hearing the unfair and untrue trashing against Cain by Leno, Letterman, etc.
In a court room but not in the "court of public opinion."
That's what's so puzzling about this! Did he think this wouldn't come out?
Only to you!
” a wife learns that her husband has been friends with a woman for 13 years that she has never heard of. “
Plus , trying to help her “ financially “ and giving her his private cell phone number .
Mrs Cain might be cool with being in the dark about all that, but, Mrs WIR
would ...not... be ...pleased.
They are predictable!
Wrong. In the court of public opinion, we honor the American tradition of innocent until proven guilty. You, on the other hand, would just as soon add to the slander and the lies as you would click on the post button.
“Did he think this wouldn’t come out?”
No, in fact Cain predicted false accusations would come out. It’s on another thread, in a statement he made last spring.
Mrs. Cain should teach Herman what frying pans are for! LOL!
Sounds like a serial stalker. Why would a reputable news station even run with this??
Yeah, so much so he needed Ron Paul to bail him out!
Oh golly gee, I'm so hurt./s
Newt Gingrich is turning out to be a flaming RINO, and Gov.Perry in no more eloquent today than he was a few weeks ago.
Well there is absolutely no chance Cain is going to be the nominee (I am not even sure he will make it through December). Either Newt or Perry are at least better than Romney. It's not like we've got a field of all stars this time around.
White filed for bankruptcy 23 years ago and has been evicted from several residences. She filed a sexual harassment suit in 2001, the station said, which was settled.
She described herself as an unemployed single mom trying to make ends meet.
I don’t think that makes me out to be a bad person, she told the station. It makes me out to be one of the millions of people right now trying to keep a roof over their head.
My "doom and gloom" mentality is born of a couple of factors:
It is looking more and more as a though a brokered nominating convention is in the future for Republicans.
