I would do my due diligence before I started with the doom and gloom. My "doom and gloom" mentality is born of a couple of factors:
- Mr. Cain's attorney's less-than-ringing, somewhat lawyerly initial non-denial of the accusation, and...
- An unwillingness on my part to believe that the media would actually give another of these nut-jobs a media cycle after the way the last two or three turned out.
I guess pretty much any white woman in America can become the hot story of the day if she'll go on television and say claim to have had some sort of sexual contact with Herman Cain. I fact, it doesn't have to be sexual. It doesn't even have to be contact. If he puts his hand up next to his chin and, by so doing, makes a woman "uncomfortable," it's hello bright lights and makeup artists, hello green-room comfort-food buffet.
