Questioner: "Should states or local government be allowed to control guns, the gun situation, or should
"
Cain: "Yes."
Questioner: "Yes?"
Cain: "Yes."
Questioner: "So the answer is yes?"
Cain: "The answer is yes, that should be a states decision."

That’s a big fail. Guess Cain hasn’t read the part about ‘shall not be infringed.’

Cain sounding more like a conservative of convenience, again.

And then along comes that pesky SECOND AMENDMENT that prohibits the jackasses working in the government from interferring with an American’s GOD GIVEN right to own firearms.

BLITZER: How about gun control?
CAIN: I support the 2nd amendment.
B: So whats the answer on gun control?
C: The answer is I support, strongly support, the 2nd amendment. I dont support onerous legislation thats going to restrict peoples rights in order to be able to protect themselves as guaranteed by the 2nd amendment.

I’m pretty sure Cain “clarified” this remark after he realized it wasn’t popular.

This interview was 5 months ago. Cain was still learning the ropes of intense media hammering. He stated his strongest point very clearly...

Notice the poster who creatively edited a hit piece about Cain managed to avoid the zot last time he pulled this trick.
Too bad his exercise in creative writing a smear about Cain did not survive. Seems he still has not learned his lesson
How about you quit selectively editing things from June and post the whole comment Cain made?

Doesn't surprise me you would think taking a quote out of context and spinning it to say wanted you wanted it to say was honest
It is one of the reasons why it is impossible to take you seriously.

Wow, I didn’t know Cain had said that THIS AFTERNOON.

This is an old interview. He answered the question before the question was fully asked ... a mistake he has since learned to avoid. And he has since clarified his position on the 2nd Amendment. I trust Cain's willingness and ability to adhere to Constitution. Bringing this back around does little if anything to swing folks away from the most popular and genuine Tea Party candidate in the bunch. Romney can pretend to be Tea Party. Perry can have a few Tea Party supporters. But the only true-blue Tea Party candidates in the group are Herman Cain, Michele Bachmann, and perhaps Rick Santorum. I'll stick with that group until the primary is over. They've been true to me; I'll be true to them. It's a "We the People" thing I have.

Have you ALWAYS been this dishonest? This is the second time tonight you have taken an OLD article and made it sound like what YOU wanted it to sound like. How long are you going to continue this?

“When I saw Herman Cains interview with Wolf Blitzer yesterday afternoon, this immediately jumped out at me:”
When WHO saw this interview when?
This is blatantly dishonest. AGAIN!
How many more times are you gonna try to pull this?

What to play do you? Hmm in 1993 Cain was one of the leaders fighting, and helping kill, Hillary care.
What was your guy Rick Perry doing in 1993?
Well how about that. Rick Perry was 1 of the very few Republicans to campaign FOR Hillary care
