Tucker Carlson: ‘Herman Cain Is Not Qualified To Be President And We Are All Pretending He Is’
MEDIAITE ^ | 11/09/11 | James Crugnale

On Fox News’s Red Eye, Wednesday morning, The Daily Caller‘s Tucker Carlson made a blunt analysis on Herman Cain‘s abilities to govern as president.

“Come on, can we just stop pretending?” Carlson remarked. “I don’t know what happened with these women, the ‘he said, she said, she said, she said’ thing. He is not qualified to be president, and we are all pretending he is. He’s a nice guy. I know him, I like him. I think he’s a great guy. He would be a better president than the current president, but he can’t explain his own economic plan.”

“Isn’t that all we need — is somebody better than Obama?” asked host Greg Gutfeld.

Yeah, don’t take a man who has a proven track record of creating wealth, jobs, etc seriously, gee, what’s wrong with people anymore.

Just vote another career politician into office and see how far that will get you.

I wonder if this fool, Tucker Carlson, has ever looked at Cain's resume.

Tucker isn’t qualified to be a commentor. He’s as smug and full of himself as O’Reilly.

Ironically, Tucker Carlson himself was once the victim of false allegations by a woman who accused him of rape—in a crowded restaurant, in a city he had never been in. Apparently she knew him only from having seen him on TV but even thuugh the accusation was preposterous, his employer offered no support (it should have been pretty easy to prove where he was on the day of the alleged rape). He eventually cleared his name at his own expense—I hadn’t know that his mother was an heiress.

Tucker Carlson Is Not Qualified To Tell Me Who To Vote For To Be President, And I WON’T Pretend He Is.

Art Laffer says Herman’s plan would get the economy booming again - maybe Tucker just doesn’t have the brains to understand anything with numbers.

This dolt isn’t qualified to have an opinion about Mr. Cain. Or any other issue of import.

It isn’t like Cain entered this race last week.

Don’t give Tucker kudos because after contributing to the blood in the water, he is just now being honest.

I know you know better than that. Even if Cain is not your pick. Tucker should have spoke up months ago that Cain was not qualified.

Now he just looks like a fool for piling on.

Perhaps Tucker could come out now and tell us who else isn’t qualified in order to save his image.

Cain answered the reporters question by saying he would consider it but only if romney views had changed because from what he'd known of him in the past they had different views.

Wrong. Cain even doubled down on this by saying Mittens was the only candidate he supported on stage during a debate on Sept 22 in Orlando. He couldn't think of any other real Conservatives like Santorum or Bachmann or even Newt to bring up? Why the squishy RINO?

The country-clubbers have decided on Milt and you filthy peasant “tea-baggers” are just getting in the way. Don’t you people realize who runs this country?
Well said. That's exactly what's going on. That's exactly what Tucker Carlson is. Bow tie or no bow tie.

And Tucker Carlson isn't qualified to clean or polish Herman Cain's shoes, let alone appear on Red Eye (I haven't seen it yet... Thank goodness for DVR)

I hope Andy Levy appropriately bitch-slapped Carlson.

Truth is, Tucker isn’t qualified to be accused of rape, nobody would believe it.
No test needed.

Based on my reading about Truman and the fact that he had the guts to drop 2 atomic bombs, he’s probably the only 20th century Democrat president that I have respect for. The guy seemed to have the strength of Patton. What happen to that generation of men?

Tucker Carlson’s job on CNN was to be James Carville’s bitch. He is a complete and utter joke

You know, while this whole thing stinks of Obama's historical election campaign tactics, I also wouldn't put this past some in the republican "establishment" as well, who have every bit as much to fear from a Cain presidency as do the dems. I can even see them working together to eliminate their common enemy.

You are right.

I do not think of excellent Presidents as either Republican or Democrat. Somehow, in my mind they are AMERICANS before they are anything else.

Truman was a stand out guy. He walked into the Presidency with few or no allies in DC and MANY enemies. He proved to be THE most effective and resolute leader this country has ever had AND at a time when no OTHER kind of leadership would do.

When it came time to decide on use of the bomb, I am sure he agonized over it as any moral and Christian leader must have done, but in the end he did the only thing he could rightly do...and that was incredibly courageous. He was concerned first and foremost for America and NOT for his ‘legacy’.

He didn't take any BS from McArthur and he didn't diddle daddle with the unions.

Just have your fun, you old son of a gun
Then drive home in your Lincoln “

Tucker thinks we need a superman to lead the unwashed masses. Forget that of the people, by the people, for the people nonsense.
