The man was on fire!
President Obama was champing at the bit during Thursday night’s speech to a joint session of Congress. He’d had it with those do-nothings. He was going to show everyone that he could be tough — and he did.
So why does it feel as if we’ve been here before? Why does it feel as if we’ve heard him “give it to them” before only to have him lighten up and give in later? Because we have, that’s why.
Yes, Thursday’s speech was an encouraging shift in tone with a meaty jobs plan of the president’s own design.
Mark Zandi, chief economist of Moody’s Analytics, even gave USA Today a glowing review of the plan. The paper reported it this way: “The plan, if enacted would boost economic growth next year by 2 percentage points and create two million additional jobs.” Of course, it will never be passed as is, but the positive analysis is still a nice feather in the president’s cap....

Wow. The guy is frickin brilliant. They would turn out 90% for Al Sharpton. Forget the ‘in part’. But you are right, the tone here is that Obama is losing his base of support and has lost the ‘independents’. While we can argue over a Republican candidate, I will be suppporting that candidate to end the insanity of this administration.
I would be more than happy to put him out. However, I would not use a fire extinguisher.

On Friday Mark Styn,subbing for Russ,had a 3 hour parody of the Obama speech.He said Obama sounded like that TV Pitchman, Billy Mays:”Pass this Bill!, Pass this Bill now!Mark said:”call 1-800 Pass this Bill now and get a free vegamatic food slicer.”It was pretty hilarious and sad at the same time...the Pres. sounded like a fool(asking to have a non existent Bill with non existent paid for it money, over and over and over?) Styn readily pointed out the hypocrisy and lies the One talked about.
