Many people around the world are unaware of the war that has been raging in the Philippines. At the heart of the violence is the desire of Jihadist terrorist groups such as the Moro Islamic Liberation Front, Abu Sayyaf and Jemaah Islamiyah to establish an independent Islamic state ruled by Shariah law on the island of Mindanao.

US diplomats openly acknowledged in the secret cables leaked by Wikileaks the role Saudi Arabia was playing in funding the Islamic groups in the Philippines...

I;’ve visited a lot of countries. Wonder why the Saudi’s don’t issue visas to tourists. And they are our friends?

I've worked the southern Philippines mission, down in Mindanao / Sulu archipelago, and in Afghanistan. They are both significant problems, but not nearly on the same level. Phil 'terrorist' are closer to gangbangers, and their version of Islam is all but heresy to orthodox Sunnis.

Most of the real AQ-type trouble there (as far as the rest of the world is concerned) isn't native to the area, and doesn't really take root there all that well.

Indonesia is more of a problem, but only insofar as there's so many Muslims numerically, that even .05% radicalization level is a significant amount.

Saudi Arabia is one of the single greatest threats to world peace and western civilization.

As long as we rely on the Saudis for oil, they will grow rich.

As long as they grow rich, western politicians will pander to them and issue communiques and statements instead of deadlines.

As long as we block drilling in ANWAR, the Gulf, exploiting shale oil, nuclear energy and more coal, we will continue to support these monsters.

And the Saudis, like all Muslims, are monsters.

Talking about “good” Muslims is as psychotic as talking about “good” NAZIs.

We need the ghost of Black Jack Pershing to return to the scene. He sorted those pagans out before.
