As Palin remains unannounced about whether she will run, powerful GOP members outside the beltway say they don't want her in the race.
The theatrics and confusion over Sarah Palin's upcoming schedule probably won't help her standing with Republican activists in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina, who already overwhelmingly prefer that she not run for president in 2012, according to a survey conducted this past week by The Huffington Post and Patch in the early primary and caucus states.
Palin had previously announced plans to appear at a Tea Party rally in Indianola, Iowa, on Saturday, but that has been put "on hold," according to organizers. Separately, Palin announced new plans to speak to another Tea Party rally in New Hampshire on Labor Day.
Iowa's Tea Party of America announced later today that Palin had reconfirmed and will be in Indianola on Saturday.
Last week, our HuffPost-Patch Power Outsiders poll of influential Republicans in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina found two thirds satisfied with the current crop of candidates and only 8 percent offering Palin when asked who else they would like to see run in a follow-up question.
Power Outsiders is a Patch-Huffington Post project that surveys influential Republicans in the early voting states of Iowa, New Hampshir
I bet she knows the difference between a "roll" and a "role", genius.
Old School, here you go my friend.
1) She achieved nothing in academia.
2) She has no clue about economics, she simply regurgitates the lines she was coached to say.
3) She has no clue on foreign policy and foreign policy has the greatest economic impact on our nation.
4) She quit as governor.
5) She hasn't seen a war she didn't like, which is a contradiction to the spirit of the framers regarding foreign entanglements.
War will bankrupt America. Mark my words, you have not seen anything yet in terms of economic hardship here if we keep projecting our global military empire on debt. The only people that will benefit are the damned bankers and Palin doesn't seem to mind.
Neocon: For the most part I am a conserv ative but not the new version which includes wars on all fronts and all parts of the world. I don't believe America should be in the business of nation building. I don't think that is democracy at all. It is militarism.
I don't think Palin’s religious beliefs should be a part of our foreign policy with respect to Israel and such. This puts America in grave danger.
Hey, if you want to live in a cage with a sign that says "FOOL" posted on the bars, complain to your mama if people throw peanuts at you.
I wanna go see the tigers :)
As opposed to Reagan who I had seen a couple of weeks earlier. There was no comparison.
We need Sarah to become president because she is the only one I see with enough b$$ls and brains to get done what needs to get done!
Here is an example of the mental midget’s mindset and why he hates Palin. (Think JEEWWWSS!!!)

America is in danger if Palin is elected because Palin espouses all out war with the enemies of Israel due to her twisted biblical beliefs. America should not be used as a biblical tool to do God’s work as Palin puts it. Im sick of people ignoring this.
Palin doesn’t represent Christianity like people think she does.

Best to ignore it.
Wednesday evening BOR, Dick Morris and Karl Rove, for openers, were poster boys for that very attitude; with all their sage pronouncements why she can’t win and shouldn’t even run.
i’, so tired of bill o’reilly!
my wife insists on watching him and his herd of moo cows.
but we watch not in real time, so that we can speed through.
karl rove is an old woman. vengeful, hateful.
dick morris i like better because he’s not hateful.

Who did you say was an idiot?
Very nice!
Exactly right. Of course, we all know these ‘outside the beltway’ types really are the ‘inside the beltway’- AND that they would rather Palin endorse their candidate. But as Palin said, there isn’t anyone in this race so far that she can get behind heart and soul. They’re crazy if they think she’s going to give a half-assed endorsement to any of them before the RNC.
To me, the title conveys the problem “RULING CLASS Republicans”, and that is EXACTLY why I want her to run and will vote for her. I am fed up with these wannabe kings and rulers. I am looking for a public servant.
No. It only shows ignorance of her record as governor an a bad habit of buying MSM drivel.
You sound like a broken record.
“I bet she knows the difference between a “roll” and a “role”, genius. “
Ya, that’s a good one!
You should watch out partner, even though the theme here is free discourse in primaries..if the perfect storm hits you will get the zot..and after 11 years.
And this thread is teeming with those who live to see that bolt hurled at Sarah Palin detractors.
I disagree with your appraisal of her and do think you ought to clarify why you do not support her specifically and whom you do support in all fairness.
But...you’ve been warned...if it matters.
What are the bolt posse gonna do if Sarah does not run...where can they then go to have sport?
Boy how this forum has twisted and turned editorially since 99...no wonder I got cervical arthritis
