Big mistake, 75% of the people in this country feel more aligned with the TEA Party than they do with either the GOP or the Rats.

Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.

But the Tea Party doesn't have a leader, so you can't really personalize it. And the Tea Party doesn't really have an agenda -- we just think taxes are too high and the government spends too much. That's a general philosophical viewpoint (widely shared in America) and it's not easy to "freeze it".

They've picked a target, they've polarized it, but all they can do now is be divisive. And that doesn't play well.

How many have actually been to a tea party?

They have seen some video of LaRouche’s people waving Nazi placards and associate that with the tea party movement. Dumb.

I challenge them to go view a meeting and take note of how the majority of the “psychotic terrorists” has blue hair. You know-—those old timers the ‘rats are always worried about and whose Social Security they try to “protect.”

Being in Florida may have distorted my view but someone should do a video scan a meeting down here so the ‘rats can see for themselves the age group they are so scared of. I’d say 65-70 is pretty typical. Lots of hardcore radicals in that group, oh, yeah!

The Democrats new plan is the Soviet’s old plan. If you opposed the regime you had to be crazy. So they locked up dissidents in mental institutions and “treated” them.

I must be a psycho; I live within my means, bitterly cling to my 2nd amendment rights, and I still pay my taxes, even though me and my "terrorist" friends think we should just tell them to stick it. There are a lot more things I want to say, but the brown-shirt Zero crowd will send in the black helicopters... they're going to get me....I'm not crazy...Am I? Yes, I guess so.

I listened to a radio station that thought that the government was going to create a “Oklahoma City” situation and blame it on the tea party to get Obama elected next year. He said that Clinton said that Oklahoma City bombing was what put him in office the second time. 9-11 did not seem to help Bush though. Any big problem like that would help make the government larger.

I tuned into Liberal Talk Radio this morning on the drive into work (the Bill Press show) - and Bill and his callers were defending Biden’s comment that the Tea Party are terrorist.
A real eye opener that these leftist are really nuts and for lack of a better word, evil. They live in a topsy turvey world where good is bad, and bad is good.

First of all, they need to aptly describe the Tea Party. Is it comprised of "bitter people clinging to Bibles and guns"? Is it astroturf? Is it a bunch of terrorists? Is it greedy, rich white men? Is it totally inconsequential and inneffective? Or is it so dangerous and influential that it needs to be stamped out?

Every week, they describe it a different way to make a point. Van Jones is even in the process of devising a left wing equivalent (which can't be done because it's not a top down movement).

Every time they attack it, the Tea Party becomes stronger in number and more resolute in purpose.

Bottom line. They are scared to death of the Tea Party and don't have a clue how to neutralize it. All they will succeed in doing is balkanizing the nation even more than it is already balkanized.
