This was absolutely awful.
Barack Obama made another horrible mistake today. The president visited the 10th Mountain Division today and congratulated them on their service. Then he told the soldiers that he had given the Medal of Honor to Jared Monti who came back from Iraq alive. Jared Monti was actually killed in Iraq in 2006. How sad.
“First time I saw 10th Mountain Division, you guys were in southern Iraq. When I went back to visit Afghanistan, you guys were the first ones there. I had the great honor of seeing some of you because a comrade of yours, Jared Monti, was the first person who I was able to award the Medal of Honor to who actually came back and wasn’t receiving it posthumously.“

As we all know, SSG Sal Giunta, of the 173rd Airborne, was the first living recipient (2011) of the MOH who fought in Iraq/Afganistan. SFC Jared Monti, 10th Mountain Division, was KIA in Afghanistan in 2006. He was posthumously awarded the MOH by Obama in 2009.
How does the Commander-in-Chief mix these heroes up? He put that medal around Giunta’s neck and he stood with Monti’s parents as they grieved.

There is some light on the shoulder, but none on the back - I don’t know. But that image is posted at the Duke Ellington website with the caption of him signing the screen. They may have been duped as well.

In the liberal world, what you say isn’t as important as whether you are a liberal. That is, if you are a liberal, you are not supposed to be fact-checked, because, hey, you’re a liberal so you must be OK.
That’s why Hillary thought she should get away with so many gaffes (like running from the plane while bullets were flying in Iraq, or was it Afghanistan, but who cares). And why she could say she was named after Edmund Hillary, who climbed Mount Everest, even though she was already five years old when the unknown beekeeper made the climb.
Fact-checking is only supposed to be applied to people who are supposed to care about facts, ie, conservatives.

He flubs this not because he forgets but because he doesn’t bother to remember. If I looked into the faces of this fine, young man’s parents while presenting this, our highest honor, I sure as heII would not forget. Obama is a disgrace to the office of the presidency.

Wow! If that’s the award ceremony, it’s putting it mildly to say that she’s inappropriately dressed. Also, she looks like the Incredible Hulk in that picture (or the Incredible Hulk’s backside, at least). I know she can’t help being a giantess, but she sure could have worn something more appropriate.

Would have loved for the Monti`s to have interrupted him and straightened him out, but they would have probably feared for their lives if they had tried it. Hard telling what crap face would have done to them if they had.
