The state of Hawaii claims that the "birth certificate" for Barack Obama in its files – presumably the document that was copied and distributed by the White House – remains confidential.

The image released April 27 by the White House was described by administration officials as "proof positive" of Obama's Hawaiian birth.

At that time, officials in Hawaii's health department and governor's office refused to provide confirmation to WND that the image released by the White House accurately represented the birth documentation in the state's custody.

Now, officials have refused to respond to a subpoena requesting the birth record, citing confidentiality...

It is a fact that Obama requested an exception and that the Hawaii DoH claims to have granted one.

Again, I made no assertion, whatsoever, about whether or not an exception was required by law.

Stop trying to play “gotcha.” There’s no point.

Is that a fact? Be more careful when you use the kind of over-emphasis a junior con man uses, then. Your statement did not need the “it’s a fact”, and further it used passive verbs to describe what Obama and Hawaii did. The inference is normal and not exceptional action, and that sense of operation per regulations was reinforced by your use of “it’s a fact”. This most readers, imo, would take it to mean you were indirectly referencing regular normal action per the law.

Obama and Hawaii have forfeited any ‘expectation of privacy’ because Obama has publicly shared and is still sharing his “official Hawaiian birth records” to all parties by publishing it on his White House website.

This is only true if what he has presented is in fact what is in Hawaii's records. If what he has presented is NOT the same thing in Hawaii's records, then he HASN'T publicly shared his official Hawaiian birth records. Therefore, Hawaii is still required to respect his privacy.

Where is Donald Trump’s team of “investigators”?? What exactly did they find???

Last I heard, the Donald said the Long-Form Birth Certificate was a fraud.

Prepare for a very rough road ahead.

That’s where we go from here.

Obama does not have any “expectation of privacy” since HE is the one who placed his personal “birth records” on a public and government website - the White House website.

The distinction is that NO third party made Obama’s “private information” known to the public. If that was true, Obama could still claim that he has the right by law to privacy, but that is not the case here since Obama is the disseminator of his own birth records.

Saw a poster's comment just now on another forum:

I just saw on Drudge that the TSA is currently conducting a massive land/air exercise in Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia. They are coordinating with the military and other government agencies.

Isn't that special. Reminds me of a comment by a poster on yet another forum about how she went to pre-purchase a ticket at the Greyhound station in Las Vegas and TSA thugs were there; she engaged them in conversation and they told her that TSA will be making a presence in other bus depots. And, no guns or knives allowed even in luggage stored below.

What i’m trying to say is that Perhaps Hawaii is making a tacit admission that what he has released does not jive with what they have in their records.

That would logical conclusion that Obama and Hawaii are hiding records or the lack of.

Why don’t some of these legal geniuses, offer Taiz a hand up instead of standing back and throwing rocks you ask?

Hint: they may actually be sane.

Spend your time talking about what ever you want, but it would make more sense to talk about Michelle on a thread the candidates.

The Constitution is the only thing that can stop the current easing into total tyranny.

If we don’t get our rights from God, as the Constitution says, then from whom do we get those rights? I can only hope you know the proper answer, but your comments give me cause to doubt that you do.

The sticks and carrots are revenge.

There is an ancient, deep, hatred of the US and white people there, especially white mainlanders. It is understandable, based on Hawaiian experience with missionaries and mainlanders who came to the Islands. Right or wrong, there is a deep resentment that breeds entitlement mentality.

When resentment caused by victim thinking is that deep, it overrides reason and good sense. Intelligence or education don’t matter, the compulsion to act out the resentment trumps reason.

This is the energy that fuels liberalism. It will burn out eventually, but will burn many people in the process.

Would I be able to request a copy of your birth certificate?

I don't know about my state. Probably only if I authorize it.

But if I published a copy of it online, I have made it public and it wouldn't make any sense to not let anyone get their own copy direct from a government agency. There shouldn't be anything on one that's not on the other.
