Voting for crappy Republican candidates goes back well past McCain. I voted for McCain only because of Palin. I am sick of globalist Repubs and believe Romney is cut from the same cloth as Bush Jr.

There’s no way a Pubbie wins if Trump has Perot’s position in 2012—and I just don’t see him either dropping out or getting the GOP nomination, so the setup is coming into focus perfectly. The Dems are just better at hardball politics than the GOP.
If Romney gets the Republican nomination he has a chance as an independent in 2012 the way he’s been polling.
I think he’s a tool of the Clintons—that will end up playing out perfectly for Obama.

Trump will not run unless he can win.
Trump should play the following card:
If the Factcheck.org COLB is legit, why didn’t Obama and his lawyers submit it as evidence in all [12?] court cases rather than spend over $2 mm fighting over “standing”?
Reason: Rules of Evidence. The other side could challenge the authenticity of the COLB under oath.
This alone is the smoking gun.
If he runs as an Independent and splits the conservative vote, he will GUARANTEE an Obama victory, just as Ross Perot enabled Bill Clinton to win in 1992 with clinton getting just 43% of the vote.

I'm glad he's dogging Obama on various issues, but I hope people take a much more careful look before falling all over Trump and declaring their undying support, etc.
I never said I would vote for Romney. I said Romney has more personal integrity than Trump. Make of that what you will.
Soften it by the passage of time if you wish. The undeniable truth is...it's part of Trump's background. It warrants scrutiny... just as RomneyCare dogs Mitt Romney and Bill Ayers was part of 0bama's life.

agreed, I wish he and Huckabee would just go away. Its like when I was a teen and there were those kids who would hang around no matter how hard you tried to ditch ‘em. They just keep showing up.

And I disagree, Trump I don’t think would let himself be used as a pawn by anyone, for anyone elses purpose. Say what you will about him, but he is his own man, which is saying alot more than can be said for any of the so called “safe” candidates the RNC will try and run.
