Fabulous straight talk from Trump. The reporter learns that The Donald does not suffer fools.

Interview highlights: Thanks Palin; Says, if he were POTUS, we would take Iraq's oil and compensate our allies; Would not allow Iran to take over Iraq; Would impose 25% duty on Chinese imports.

He’d never get elected as an independent.

He has not desire to actually be elected. He would lose control of his empire if he did.

He simply wants to take Barry out.

Works for me.

I believe the three things mentioned above would be justifiable and especially the 25% on Chinese imports, but for it to work this government would have to quit binding the hand of the American manufacturing company,s.

Presidents like the three C,s, Carter, Clinton and Creepy has sold out our economy to China.

I don,t know if Trump is a phoney or not, but he does have a good business head and would know how to bring the manufacturing back to the United States.

If America is destined to come back from the suicide that has been brought about by the American people themselves
it looks like we are going to have to take a chance on some one.

If Trump runs as an independent,we will most likely lose and be in worse trouble than we are in, if he runs on the G.O.P. ticket and wins we will at least have some one who understands why some nations are starving and others are booming.

The ideal for me would be Palin for President and some one such as Trump as vice President.

“I’ll tell you this. Whoever in this field takes it to Obama the straightest and the hardest and the most direct, is who’s gonna win. They’re gonna have to take it to Obama. This isn’t a ‘pussy-foot around’ type of election. This is not, ‘Oh, we’ve got to worry about what they’re gonna say about us, we’ve got to worry about PR, about charges of racism.’ Somebody’s got to be willing to take it to Obama. It’s going to be about him and four more years of this stuff and we’ll see if there’s anybody in this field willing to do that.” ~ Rush Limbaugh - March 25th, 2011

Donald Trump: ObamaCare Is Unconstitutional, Should Be Repealed
Thursday, February 10, 2011
By Nicholas Ballasy

(CNSNews.com) Real estate mogul, television personality, and possible 2012 presidential candidate Donald Trump told CNSNews.com that the new health care law is unconstitutional and should be repealed.

When entering the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on Thursday, CNSNews.com caught up with Trump who has said he is seriously considering a run for president and asked him, “Do you think that the health care law is constitutional, the individual mandate in the health care law?”

Trump, a Republican, said, “I do not think it’s constitutional, no.”

CNSNews.com then asked, “Do you think it should be repealed?”

Trump responded, “I do.”

Donald Trump on Health Care

We must have universal health care
I’m a conservative on most issues but a liberal on health. It is an unacceptable but accurate fact that the number of uninsured Americans has risen to 42 million. Working out detailed plans will take time. But the goal should be clear: Our people are our greatest asset. We must take care of our own. We must have universal healthcare.
Our objective [should be] to make reforms for the moment and, longer term, to find an equivalent of the single-payer plan that is affordable, well-administered, and provides freedom of choice. Possible? The good news is, yes. There is already a system in place-the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program-that can act as a guide for all healthcare reform. It operates through a centralized agency that offers considerable range of choice. While this is a government program, it is also very much market-based. It allows 620 private insurance companies to compete for this market. Once a year participants can choose from plans which vary in benefits and costs. The America We Deserve, by Donald Trump, p.206-208 & 218 Jul 2, 2000” (book.) http://www.ontheissues.org/celeb/Donald_Trump_Health_Care.htm

I don’t know the answer to healthcare, I do know 20 30 years ago something worked. What happened? Didn’t Reagan do something along the line of big deductions for insurance provided by employers? In 1998 I had no problem with obtaining health insurance, now its a mess. Can someone tell me what went wrong with it? I know O care is a mess so save that I mean before that. I noticed health insurance went to crap under Bush but I think that started under Clinton.

Wow, what a brave defense of free speech.

A bit of a non sequitur though since nobody is attacking it.

If we were given the choice of:

Democrat: 0bama

Republican: Romney

Independent: Trump

I might just leave the top of the ballot blank for the first time since I've been eligible to vote if those were the choices.

Yes, If Trump wants to be POTUS he needs to win the GOP nomination or forget about it. A third party just does not work here. Given the likely GOP lineup I think Trump could probably win handily. Smartly he is bypassing all the other possible candidates and attacking Obama head on. If some of them don’t speak up soon they will just be background noise in the schoolyard brawl between Trump and Barry.

I see my favorite candidate Michelle Bachmann got a clue the other day and finally managed to squeak out a statement that Barry should trot out the BC. I think she figured out that she better lead, follow or get out of Trump’s way.

Maybe. I am not in favor of an Independent Candidate. A new Political Party would be better.

Works for me too! I’ve never, ever be a fan of “The Donald” but I am now. I don’t know what his gig is, but I like it! Somebody has to stop Barry’s free ride.

I guess I’m being naive, but couldn’t the DEMS also have a
candidate that runs as an independent.

I think maybe Michael Moore could run against Obama; maybe Hillary; maybe Al Gore.

Interesting that we don’t think out of the box.

You have a good point but the times it has happened it has split the republican vote more than the democrats, even when George Wallace ran as independent i voted for him rather than a republican, why? because he said if he were elected he would throw the briefcase packing bureaucrats out of Washington. he said what he thought, you can agree or not but i like people who tell it as they see it.

I do really agree about Hillary, if she were to run against Obama that would really split the dems vote, but there may be a problem, would half of the stupid republicans vote for Hillary to keep Obama out? and the other half vote for Obams to keep Hillary out, ha,ha.

Sigh. So disappointing if he would. For a minute there, I thought we had a true Patriot.

Heroes are truly in short supply these days.

Great what he’s doing — but run as in Independent and the wind is out of the sails.

That one is not the Nolan Chart. It is from OnTheIssues.org and is narrower in its criteria (doesn’t go to the extremes right or left but keeps it to US political landscape.)

I get that, but on the face of it.. it is wrong. We know because when we try to plot out the "Conservatives" we find three sub-groups, Socal, Economic and Security conservatives. How is the plotted on this chart? Name anything about a Libertarian that would put them at 100% matching the Communists on one side and laissez-faire Capitalists on the other???

In my world, 100% personal freedom and 100% economic freedom is not Libertarian, its Anarchist. And what self-respecting Communist will tolerate any personal freedom??? The whole thing is nuts. Ala, the folks banning kids bringing their own lunch to school.

But this also means that folks placing politicians on charts like this are lying to us..

Now, the OnTheIssues site they point to www.self-gov.org as the source of this chart.. but this is dead now.. and instead it points to http://www.theadvocates.org/ and rather than self-government, this site is a crypto-Ron Paul/Libertarian site with a extremely tainted quiz to convince people they are in-fact libertarians. So, anyone using this chart is deceiving anyone reading it.. or don't care whether the chart is useful or crap.. either makes me say.. pile of stinking poo.

I think he’s blazing the trail for Hillary.

Just my opinion.

I don,t know but i just try to put myself in his place, would i be willing to lose my entire fortune and my reputation unless i was sure of what i was talking about? no way.

Trump does the same thing and not a peep.

That's because he is pushing the button which is hard wired to the spinal cords of the BCDS (birth certificate derangement syndrome) crowd.

They are far too busy chanting their support to examine Trump's RINO and Dem background, which makes Mitt look like Cal Coolidge by comparison.
