Fabulous straight talk from Trump. The reporter learns that The Donald does not suffer fools.

Interview highlights: Thanks Palin; Says, if he were POTUS, we would take Iraq's oil and compensate our allies; Would not allow Iran to take over Iraq; Would impose 25% duty on Chinese imports.

You know the more I look at this chart, the less I understand it. I tried to chase it down through looking up its originator, David Nolan, and found these axises are based on "Personal Freedom" and "Economic Freedom." Ultimately, the reason for this chart is to some how by god find a way to put the Nazi's on the right.. as if.. the conservative right was 100% Economic Freedom and 0% Personal Freedom.. uh.. I don't think so.

Well lets read this the way it is stated, the Conservative right is concerned about 100% economic issues.. and 0% about social issues.. nope.. and the Libertarians are concerned about 100% economic issues and 100% social issues.. nope.. so what the heck does this chart say and how the heck to they place anyone on it????????????

It blows my mind how many Freepers are making excuses for The Donald just because he's on TV screaming about Obama's birth certificate. What will you all say when Obama gets re-elected because of this egotistical SOB.

Unless I'm badly mistaken, Donald Trump is a private citizen of the United States of American exercising his right to free speech.

He has not announced his candidacy for any elected office.

Uh....also....I don't hear any "screaming"....I do hear a drumbeat tho!! And that drumbeat is echoing inside the white house...as it should.

Would that the current crop of right wing "hopefuls" had the cajones of the Donald!

NEVER would I vote for Romney. I choked down that pill with McCain in `08 and look what it got us. No more. Never again. I’ll write-in “Yogi Bear” for POTUS and vote down-ticket.

“Trump is a smack-talking pied-piper and anyone who trusts him is a chump.”

But he’s a birther - and that’s all that matters to many here on FR. If he is going to run, then let him run in another party, because all he does is suck all the air out of the room.

“Trump is going to do what he thinks is best to insure Obama’s defeat in 2012.”

That should be “ensure,” or “make certain,” and not “insure,” as in “limit financial liability.” I’m not sure how much the insurance policy would cost, but I’d be willing to bet that it would be expensive. The financial loss from his reelection would be devastating.

To hell with high gas prices.. To hell with fact there could be some Islamic superstate being formed in the middle east.. To hell with the fact that Iran is developing nuclear weapons. All that matter is the stupid BC issue..

Are you OK with Trump’s position on eminent domain abuse?

As a private citizen (albeit one with a tremendous amount of "clout") Mr. Trump has the constitutional right to express his opinion on any matter - eminent domain abuse included.

Were you as famous and as rich as the Donald, you could put your personal view "out there" and those who disagree with you could question you about it.

At least Ross Perot was a likable old codger. Trump however, well like I've always said don't trust a salesman or politician with a comb-over.

I think Romney is in first place right now. He may be our only choice and a McCain Part 2 (IMO)

Romneycare vs Obamacare will be debates

In a way it’s a good thing. It exposes the fact that a good portion of “conservative” voters are suckers. Helps to set proper expectations.

I’m not talking about what he states; I’m referring to what he has done in the past.

Recommend you google “Vera Coking.”

I think Romney is in first place right now. He may be our only choice...

Then we get a Democrat again. Either way.

Oh, how the media would like that.

Could Trump be full of crap? Sure. But he’s fighting the good fight now. Yes, I’m 100% for Palin. If Trump opposes her and she can’t defeat him, then she doesn’t deserve the office.

BINGO!

He's also the only one right now actually doing any hard fighting at all. Compared to Trump, the rest of the right wing (excluding SP) "hopefuls" can best be described as "milktoast"...they are pretty much a waste of time and energy.

What you state about SP is also true of all the other "potential" candidates. If they can't beat the Donald, then they don't deserve the nomination.

And I state the following emphatically for the benefit of all on this thread:

DONALD TRUMP HAS NOT ANNOUNCED HIS CANDIDACY FOR ANY PUBLIC OFFICE. HE IS NOT OFFICIALLY RUNNING FOR ANYTHING!

I've read the details about the 1990 court trial.

Perhaps....just perhaps....you might want to try concentrating on current day issues...those there is still time to do something about.

That one is not the Nolan Chart. It is from OnTheIssues.org and is narrower in its criteria (doesn’t go to the extremes right or left but keeps it to US political landscape.)

Something about this whole thing STINKS. Can you spell O-R-C-H-E-S-T-R-A-T-E-D?

I think he's blazing the trail for Hillary.

Just my opinion.

Hillary started the Birther meme and her people did a lot of research on it. She is probably feeding Trump the stuff he is hinting he has on the subject.

I'm a Palin supporter. Trump is going to do what he thinks is best to insure Obama's defeat in 2012.

Donald has no desire to be President. He simply wants to take Barry out.

Works for me.

ineluctable
