Fabulous straight talk from Trump. The reporter learns that The Donald does not suffer fools.

Interview highlights: Thanks Palin; Says, if he were POTUS, we would take Iraq's oil and compensate our allies; Would not allow Iran to take over Iraq; Would impose 25% duty on Chinese imports.

IMHO....the "Trumpster" is about five steps ahead of all of us. What he is doing now is pre-planned.

Remember: he's wealthy, he's a consumate business man, he's a planner, he's smart, and he hates to lose.

His objective is to eradicate the stain.

The "Trumpster" knows the stain's handlers will attempt to "fire back".

The "Trumpster" knows it is much harder to hit a moving target. As it is now, they really don't know how to fight him.

And that is worth the price of admission.

And remember: he's doing all this without ever having officially announce his candidacy for anything!

Trump is a smack-talking pied-piper and anyone who trusts him is a chump.

Welll ... certainly your opinion.

But tell me this. Since when is "trust" an earmark for backing an electable politician?

Other than President Reagan, name a President since FDR that you "trusted", and were not disappointed.

So's splitting the GOP vote, IMO.

Uh oh. Signs emerge, especially with this announcement, that he’s actively working with Soros to keep Obama in, after all.

Or he could be just an immoral narcissitic megalomaniac who enjoys taking everyone for a ride and has no real values.

I am not necessarly a Trump supporter BUT would like to remind all the Republicans out there that the Republican Party was the THIRD PARTY IN 1860! Without doing a search of it I belive they began working it in around 1835.

So's splitting the GOP vote, IMO.

1. Trump "WARNS" he "MIGHT" run as an independent.

2. Trump has not announced that he is, in fact, running for anything.

3. Trump is playing the left like a fiddle.

In this upcoming fracas...listen to the drumbeat, not the music. Let the "Trumpster" do what he'd doing. He's got the left so confused and mixed up they don't yet even know how to fight him. He's also doing a marvelous job in deflecting the left's hatred and ire away from all the other right wing candidates. EG: how long has it been since you've seen or heard an attack on Palin?????????

Now...re-read point #2 above!

I'm can't think of any times off-hand when I've been disappointed. I take an Epictetian view of that question: If I'm disappointed, my expectations were too high. My expectations are, I think, as low as they can go, and so I am never disappointed.

You are right. By definition, no politician should be trusted. That's why I don't trust any of them.

But look at how so-called conservatives here on FR fawn and swoon over this pol or that. They post pretty pictures. They act as if so-and-so can do no wrong. They rationalize every red flag.

It seems to me they have emotional needs that they fill with teen-crush-like attitudes toward the grifter of the moment. They can't or won't accept that the system is a farce and the actors using that system are up to no good.

PS-- I was too young to care much about Reagan, but I wouldn't have trusted him either.

3rd Party running, = OBAMA WINS! There will be no run off between the 1st and 2nd winners. Its the OBAMA dream, bring on the 3rd Party, they couldn’t ask for more.

PPS—and there are levels of distrust. I might not trust, say, Mitch Daniels, but I have a much better feel for how he would govern than I do of Trump. I have a better understanding of what I’d be voting for.

Trump on the issues.

Just to put it in comparison, here is Rudy's policy chart.

..and Bill Clinton's chart

From ontheissues.org He is way closer to Bill Clinton than he is someone we all agree is a RINO. Heck, on a straight right/left paradigm, he is almost identical to Bill Clinton.

Well he’s not getting any support from the GOP on the BC. They’re out there making fun of him along with the rats.

WHY is he "WARNING" he "MIGHT" run as an indie if he's so strongly against 0bama being reelected? It comes very clearly across that if he doesn't get the GOP nod, he's going to take his ball and go third-party.

Right now Trump is one of two candidates who don’t hold back when attacking/criticizing Obama the other is Palin. The recent dip in polling for Obama coincides with Trump’s increasing criticism of Obama which I think is helping push his numbers down along with compounding events which are showing Obama’s ineptitude. Trump is someone we want on our side.

Romney with all his flaws still has more integrity in his left pinky than comb-over boy has in his whole body.
