Like a stubborn bulldog, Donald Trump just won't let go of the so-called "birther" issue. Monday on CNBC he continued his fearless crusade. The segment runs about 17 minutes; The Donald takes on the "certifcators" at the midway point.
Interestingly, the New York Times on Friday published Mr. Trump's letter to the editor. He was responding to a critical column by Gail Collins. In his missive, Mr. Trump again summarizes the key issues that "inquiring minds want to know."
There is a very large segment of our society who believe that Barack Obama, indeed, was not born in the United States. His grandmother from Kenya stated, on tape, that he was born in Kenya and she was there to watch the birth. His family in Honolulu is fighting over which hospital in Hawaii he was born in-they just don't know.
He has not been able to produce a "birth certificate" but merely a totally unsigned "certificate of live birth"-which is totally different and of very little significance. Unlike a birth certificate, a certificate of live birth is very easy to obtain. Equally of importance, there are no records in Hawaii that a Barack Hussein Obama was born there-no bills, no doctors names, no nurses names, no registrations, no payments, etc. As far as the two notices placed in newspapers, many things could have happened, but some feel the grandparents put an ad in order to show that he was a citizen of the U.S. with all of the benefits thereto. Everybody, after all, and especially then, wanted to be a United States citizen.
The term used by Ms. Collins -- "birther" -- is very derogatory and is meant in a derogatory way. Had this been George Bush or almost any other President or Presidential aspirant, they would never have been allowed to attain office, or would have been thrown out of office very quickly.
For some reason, the press protects President Obama beyond anything or anyone I have ever seen. What they don't realize is that if he was not born in the United States, they would have uncovered the greatest "scam" in the history of our country. In other words, they would become the hottest writer since Watergate, or beyond.
Can it be that the Times fears that where there's smoke, there's also fire? The Times could have very easily ignored Mr. Trump's letter, arguing the issue is settled and simply beneath it. One can only guess how long it will take until the Administration responds. Can the MSM ignore the issue forever? Or is the New York Time's signaling something here? In the video Mr. Trump implies that if were true that Mr. Obama was in fact ineligible for office then that would nullify legislation he signed, such as ObamaCare.
But would it? Are we being slowly prepared for a new argument that even if Mr. Obama were shown to be ineligible, that perhaps he merits an exception? Or, even if he were to be removed -- would that necessarily nullify the legislation he signed? The plot surely thickens. Thank ya; thank ya; thank ya, Mr. Trump.

And, I’m now starting to wonder if it would also nullify any or all decisions handed down by illegitimate judges.
You can’t have a name “Barry” and then secretly change it to Barack. One of the stipulations for changing a name is to go public with it, meaning you acknowledge that you are changing your former name to your current name, especially for a male. The male who wishes to legally change his name needs to be public about it from the get go. He can’t hide about it, fill out applications for school or IL Bar applications and not acknowledge his real name.
Barry has been very misleading about his past identity and knew he wasn’t eligible to run due to his lying on federal forms. He can’t be President and his large ego needs to step off and get over it. He could get many lucrative positions around the world, but he needs to realize he is on the verge of being outed for his forged past. Barry.... it’s over. Step down and move on.... otherwise it will only get more embarrassing from here.
You can see the administration strategy as it has been and is now: claim it’s a fringe issue, declare and define the mainstream of America as those who accept the administration’s spin. The mainstream media, as is well known, carries water for this administration, even to a large extent Fox. Whereas it works to marginalize people who have no large media shadow, eg. most of the people reading this and myself, and even works with those in politics and elsewhere who must build their name, as most think they need to, it doesn’t work at all with someone who’s already established their name, as Donald Trump has. It in fact works against the mainstream media and the administration to try and marginalize an independently established name. But since they have no coherent, truthful response, ie. facts, to counter with all they do is draw more attention to it and gather more of the people who might have already dismissed it to now take it seriously.
In other words, this is backfiring exponentially on the administration and the mainstream media because their only weapon was painting those questioning as begrudging, crazed, cavemen and marginalizing them, pushing them to the fringe. But it won’t work with Trump.
Did Barry get any degrees, practicing licenses or anything like that under his self-given name “Barack Hussein Obama” or did he use his legal name?

Actually, we disagree. I could care less if the guy gets embarrassed. He needs to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. I don't know how any of that would work, if after the impeachment, he could be charged for crimes or if that is part of the impeachment process. High Crimes...
Second, if he steps down he protects those who knew and orchestrated this sham. And that is far more deadly to us as a nation than if Barry stays in office until 1/20/13.
A lot of perp walks to be taken if he gets prosecuted/impeached. He didn't pull it off alone.

Or will it? Perhaps the USA can exercise the same sort of clawbacks that are now affecting the Madoff profiteers. A hundred billion here, a couple of hundred billion there, and soon you’re talking real money.
Perhaps Soros is done with Obama, who, like so many in criminal organizations, comes with enough baggage they can be easily unloaded when they have outlived their usefulness. A hierarchy of dupes.
I feel the same. I also feel Soros needs to be prosecuted for high crimes as well.
