Actually, we disagree. I could care less if the guy gets embarrassed. He needs to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. I don't know how any of that would work, if after the impeachment, he could be charged for crimes or if that is part of the impeachment process. High Crimes...
Second, if he steps down he protects those who knew and orchestrated this sham. And that is far more deadly to us as a nation than if Barry stays in office until 1/20/13.
A lot of perp walks to be taken if he gets prosecuted/impeached. He didn't pull it off alone.
Read the Constitution. Impeachment is limited to removal from office. The Founders wisely limited Congress's power, being fully aware that the Old Country's parliament had the power to chop off the king's head. That's good for popcorn consumption, especially if Guy Fawkes is there to keep the show interesting, but bad for the rule of law.
