The economy sucks, unemployment is sky high, and he is still polling in the upper 40%...and this is without any campaigning. So it's going to be tough, and right now, at this very moment, I'm not seeing anyone who can beat him but two years is a long time away and much can happen.
A CNN poll released this week asked Americans whether they plan to vote for or against President Obama in 2012. The options were "probably vote for," "probably not vote for," "definitely vote for," and "definitely not vote for." The most popular answer was "definitely not vote for" – chosen by 35 percent of respondents. Only 25 percent say they'll "definitely vote for" the president. 51 percent predict he will lose.A Gallup poll also released this week might help explain why. Gallup asked respondents whether they approve or disapprove of President Obama's performance in eight areas: health care, the economy, foreign affairs, dealing with Afghanistan, dealing with Egypt, taxes, energy policy, and the federal budget deficit. Of all of these areas, more than half of all Americans approve of President Obama's performance on ... none of them. In all eight areas, fewer than 50 percent approve of his performance.
The big undertaking will be that the Republican candidate will have to unite the establishment AND the Tea Party. That will get them the nomination.

Muammar Qaddafi, who regards himself a philosopher king, according to an excellent article in last weekend’s WSJ, will soon be available, and would make an excellent candidate.(Read the article to learn why.) The birth certificate question can be settled as well as the same question has been in practical terms settled regarding our current Dear Leader. While the article dismisses the man’s self image (without listing the reasons), he appears to be more of a philosopher king than your primitive community organizer now at the helm, believe me.

Tell me, is that too much to ask?
Yes, a very simple and standard law that could easily be applied in all 57 states, in my opinion.
NOTE: But wait. Someone will inevitably ask me this question: What happens if a potential candidate says that there is no long form birth certificate in his case, because he was not born in a hospital?
My response is this: Again, if the presidential candidate claims that he was NOT born in a hospital----maybe he was born in a taxicab or a private car or a private home or in the woods somewhere---then he can ask his state of birth to provide him with an OFFICIAL letter---with the state's seal---verifying that the candidate was born in that state on a certain state.
Now, is it too much to ask state officials to pass a simple law like the one above? I don't think so.

A black woman at work today said that she would not vote for Obama again, but would not vote against him. She will just let other people pick the next President.
She said that we have proven that a black man can become President, but that he forgot the blacks who elected him as soon as he got elected.
She wanted someone to get us out of this mess and get rid of the “uncertainty”.

So far...I am impressed with Allen West.
Palin can win. She’s shown more fight than anyone. She’s encouraged a second tier of good conservatives to get in the fight.
She’s regrouping now- going to India I hear.
When she comes it will be with both barrels. She can bring the revolutionary restructuring that is needed. She will have a team that fills any voids you can see in her as a candidate.
She won’t back down in the fight for America.
