Hello Couponeers!
Today we shall learn that you can NEVER stop learning about effective couponing. Just when you THINK you might know all there is to know about coupons, whole new previously undiscovered worlds can open up to you. And in the case of The Coupon Whisperer the world of PDS file coupons opened up for me last night.
You see, I have been operating under the assumption that you can only print out only a couple of coupons of a particular type from the Web. In most cases that is true. However, as I learned last night there is a BIG exception to this rule.

Keep reading and you'll find out why Carnegie Hall should pay me to NEVER sing "My Secret Love" there.

My wife found a way to pre-load coupons onto our Kroger cards, and they get rung up at the register. The problem is, I have no idea what the hell she'd loaded on the cards in advance, so it's a crap shoot when stuff gets scanned. LOL
"But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away, for his name is Obama."

PING!
And don't forget to ask to be placed on The Coupon Whisperer PING List. Couponing is no longer just some eccentric luxury. With the recession (and inflation) it has become a survival NECESSITY.

Perhaps the most incredible PDF coupon file I have encountered was last spring’s K-Mart 50% off $20 of merchandise. (I believe
it was limited to the Chicago area.) My wife became very adept at coming very close to exactly $20 totals and the coupon could be used on sale items as well. We gave away at least 100 coupons to friends who were out of work.

Check out the "My Secret Love" song further along in the blog. You might want to file it away for future reference. Right now I have no idea how it could be used but I do know that someday it could serve as the basis for a great parody song.
BTW, the "Calamity Jane" movie was panned in its time but that one Doris Day song from the flick became a big hit at the time (1953...pre-rock).

Coupons leave me with mixed feelings. I used to use them lots. I think they cater to much to processed foods. But they defiantly have their place.

At least your wife thinks about saving money.. my wife’s idea of saving money is finding a $1,000 purse on sale for $900 and insists she is ‘earning’ us $100. Needless to say, I do the grocery shopping.
