Col. Ralph Peters challenges Obama to take charge of Egypt crisis, stop hiding behind Hillary. Every time theres a crisis that involves an uprising somewhere on the planet (especially among the Arabs in the Middle East), it seems that Peters is Fox News go-to-guy for no-bull analysis on the subject. And so it was regarding the situation in Egypt, with Hosni Mubaraks grip on power being severely challenged in several areas of the country. Appearing on The OReilly Factor, Peters had some pointed advice for Obama about what he should do to act in the US interests. First, the president should stop hiding behind his henchmen, the word he used when referring to Hillary Clinton, who seems to be more engaged on the situation than the president himself. And two, the colonel said Obama should stop with his annoying policy of splitting the difference, as in not being firmly committed to the winning side in the struggle.

Nope, when he appears as an analyst, he’s credited with the title of colonel.
And two, the colonel said Obama should stop with his annoying policy of "splitting the difference," as in not being firmly committed to the winning side in the struggle.Gosh, it's almost as if years of obstructing national defense has blown up in the faces of the Demwits. Now they've got the leader they've been dreaming of since 1965. Thanks Suvroc10.
He is not a retired Colonel. The news media most of the time gets it wrong. It is ok to address him as Colonel when in a conversation. There is a big difference in the military with a LTC and COL.
I think you have the right time frame. Just as the young colonels led by Nasser threw out the old and tired Naguib, some military junior is waiting in the wings to oust the tired Mubarak. I can’t visualize that the military will give up more than a half-century of power in exchange for promises from some civilian government that may have Muslim Brotherhood backing. The first thing that Nasser did after taking power was to arrest and exile the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood. And they were isolated until Sadat gave them life in the nineteen seventies. The same sort of scenario might be building in Cairo today.
In that pic she's channeling Bucky Beaver
Correct! Same in Tunisia, Yemen and other ME countries. Before he leaves, if he leaves, the entire ME will be under Wahhabi control. Sharia Law will prevail.
yes when he was on BOR last night the title under him read Lt Col.
