Col. Ralph Peters challenges Obama to take charge of Egypt crisis, stop hiding behind Hillary. Every time there’s a crisis that involves an uprising somewhere on the planet (especially among the Arabs in the Middle East), it seems that Peters is Fox News’ go-to-guy for no-bull analysis on the subject. And so it was regarding the situation in Egypt, with Hosni Mubarak’s grip on power being severely challenged in several areas of the country. Appearing on The O’Reilly Factor, Peters had some pointed advice for Obama about what he should do to act in the US’ interests. First, the president should stop hiding behind his “henchmen,” the word he used when referring to Hillary Clinton, who seems to be more engaged on the situation than the president himself. And two, the colonel said Obama should stop with his annoying policy of “splitting the difference,” as in not being firmly committed to the winning side in the struggle.

...I don’t want the kenyan to take charge of anything. He’s wrong, bad and a loser for America on anything he says or does. From foreign and domestic “policy”, to picking a winner in the NFL playoffs. For BO to “take charge” of Egypt is akin to having Moochelle coach the Green Bay Packers. It defies all logic.
Barry is a MUSLIM.

Thus, he cannot EVER bring himself to criticize ANY leader of a Muzzie state. Hence—he did NOTHING when the people of Iran revolted last year (woulda hurt his mullahs).
Now Egypt (and other states) are up for grabs.

If he blames Hillary and things work out better than expected, he can always say he saved the situation after she screwed it up. What happened to the, “Bush did it” blame game he’s been playing on everything else? Does he want to keep all the credit for another Iran all for himself?

Obama is NOT sitting on his hands on Egypt. He is actively working with the Muslim Brotherhood to force Mubarak to step down and let the islamists gain control of the Suez canal and establish another front against Israel.

I don’t think the clear parallels between this crisis and what happened under Carter is a coincidence. Zbigniew Brzezinski is advising Obama. And he was Carter’s National Security Advisor. This whole thing is a sequel.
What I gleaned from Peters is that this administration to pick the best possible winner in this mess - now- and get behind them.
He suggested the Egyptian military is the best option, and we need to be bolstering those officers who will resist the MB and help establish a new govt to transition to elections
Looks like things are going back to 1952-56 in Egyptian history. Except instead of an Eisenhower in charge, we have Jug Ears with his feet up on the desk in the oval Office. And instead of a Dulles we have tired incompetent dirty-haired cankles with a wardrobe of ugly pant suits and a staff of metrosexual Ivy League birkenstoskers who can't even translate “restart” into Russian.
