Pretty good video of Michael Scheuer, former intelligence officer for the CIA, on Bill O'Reilly discussing wikileaks and the reason why Obama hasn't said nor did anything about the leak:

O'Reilly - So Doctor, were you surprised the President hasn't said anything about wikileaks?Scheuer - No, I think the President has a pretty established, pretty good record of not talking about things that would defend America. He and Holder have been very good at criticizing America about how we lost our moral compass. He always has time to talk about some has been Burmese journalists and Chinese writers you never hear of but when it comes to defending America Bill he's generally pretty quiet.
Bill goes on to note that Holder was sent out a few days ago to say all the usual stuff..."This is bad" and all that jazz. But why, when this President has known about wikileaks for months, has he done nothing?
Scheuer - Well you have to assume, you don't know what goes on inside someones head, but somebody who acts or doesn't act tells you clearly what he thinks. The President, when the first announcement was made, that these things were going to be leaked, could of ordered the US military or the Central Intelligence Agency to destroy the website that Mr. Assange was going to use and prevent any leaks at all.
Why didn't he?

I defy ANYONE to determine or define what Obama believes.
I'll take that challenge! What does Obama believe? Here you go:

Both Scheuer and O’Reilly know better than this. A more obvious alternative to me is that Obama could be being blackmailed into silence by Assange or another party.
When I \ listen to the tape and assume that O’Reilly actually suspects blackmail and is playing “dumb” (as he frequently does) and imagine that O’Reilly is leading the audience to consider why Obama has been silent on Wikileaks, it makes more sense to me. Wouldn't it have occurred to both O’Reilly and Scheuer that blackmail was a possibility?
Scheuer is former CIA and blackmail is a well-polished tool in the trade-craft kit!
Wikileaks is a whistleblower site that invites submissions such as original HI vital records or Kenyan BCs. What if Obama had found out that Assange has evidence that would prove Obama’s ineligibility and Assange told Obama if he attempted to use covert ops to shut him down (with prejudice?) that the ineligibility information was to be released?
Scheuer’s claim that Obama is in bed with the ACLU doesn't wash. Obama has totally enraged ACLU by continuing FISA wiretapping, continuing renditions, preserving some form of enhanced interrogation and failing to close Guantanamo.
why Obama hasn’t said nor did anything about the leak:
Easy answer there. He can’t come up with a way to hide his happiness at the damage sustained by the United States. He’s probably practiced his speech with TOTUS a hundred times but breaks out in boistreous laughing glee where he should be mad.
We got Al Capone on tax fraud charges, and we will get Julian Assange on sex crime charges. Keeping his dick under control will be much easier for him in Guantanamo Bay. This, of course, flies in the face of all those leftist blame-America-firsters. Serves them right for confusing the first amendment with high treason.
