ABC Finds Palin North Korea Mix-up Newsworthy

When candidate Obama bragged of campaigning in 57 states, or Pres. Obama suggested that the national language of Austria is "Austrian," we all remember how ABC flaunted those embarrassing flubs. Or not.
But let Sarah Palin momentarily mention North rather than South Korea as our ally, and ABC finds it newsworthy. Check out the video after the jump, containing the news scroll from today's Good Morning America.

Whats wrong with a jump if its to a decent site? What's the point of it when the video link can be posted here?

Shepard Sith has NO room to talk. He can't get through one broadcast without making several "reading" errors.
Besides, isn't he the one that made some comment about a famous woman being a whore or something by mistake? It was years ago and my menory is vague.

Pathetic hypocrits: they think this is newsworthy! All they are doing is causing people to disrespect them even more. When I see them doing this crap, it doesn't make me think less of Sarah Palin, it makes me think less of THEM (if that's possible).

President Reagan was an "amicable dunce"who could barely read his speech cards (never mind that he wrote and edited his own popular radio addresses for years).
Dan Quayle was too dumb to spell potato (never mind that he was given a card by the spelling bee judges with the incorrect spelling on it).
President Bush 42 had never seen a super market bar code reader (never mind that he was being shown a reader that could decipher torn bar codes).
Such is life for a media target. We better get used to it.

I've been listening to Juan Williams for years. Yes, I do listen to NPR as well as Fox and on occasion MSNBC. It's good to know what the other side is saying. I've noticed Juan's slow drift to the right. He is a very decent, nice man. I have my fingers crossed that he will make the jump to conservatism.
Shep Smith is not a favorite of mine. He really put me off during the Katrina disaster. I'm not surprised that he puts Palin down at every opportunity. He's probably jealous that her eye make up is prettier than his. Sorry, I know that is below the belt...but he's a jerk.

As I stated to you before...It's not against the wishes of the owner and it's not against the posting rules of FR.
It's your own persoanl preference and personal war. It's almost as if all you come to FR for is to haunt the Bloggers forum and pester folks.
Like I said.....IT'S NOT AGAINST ANY FR RULES

Better yet was Obama’s “CorpseMan”, 3 times in one sitting, when the world watched in horror as a teleprompter actually took over the brain of a human being.
Navy Corpsmen were surprised to learn that the President thought they worked on dead bodies.
Harvard Law is looking for a recall.

Alright, as long as you asked:
1. It allows traffic to other sites that people may actually enjoy. Newsbusters is a perfectly fine site that I found via a link on FR and I'm glad I did. If you always had your way, I may never have discovered that site.
2. From the replies I've seen in this thread, I'm not the only one who finds the self-appointed link police game irritating and unnecessary.
3. It reminds me of the guy who will drive exactly the speed limit in the fast lane to make sure everyone else has to go the speed limit (according to HIS speedometer).
4. Links to other sites (or dare I say it, even other blogs) is not a problem for most people. Personally I like discovering new conservative sites, even blogs. 5. What's the point of wasting your time trying to prevent traffic to other conservative sites?

Mark, just ignore the snarks. You are performing a valuable service for us FReepers, and NewsBusters is a great site. Thank you for all you do.
Have a very Happy Thanksgiving, but not TOO much turkey - we don't want you to run out of Prilosec ;-)

I never mentioned rules.
I simply asked what the point was to direct traffic to another
site to view a video at yet another site? Why not just post the link?
Further, I have not been antagonistic, I just posted the link.
Why this riles you up so much I have no idea.

A slip of the tongue and no big deal.
The real question that we should all ask given Palin's posturing as potential POTUS is this...how exactly did she answer the question? Did she just pull the typical non answer in the form of "stand by our ally" or did she actually show an understanding of the issue, the players and the potential fall-out from any of the potential reactions?
Anybody know?

In Shepard Smith's case, he has certainly defined what club he belongs too. The Rainbow Cabaret Club?

Did he grin like a cheshire cat when he heard obama talk about the 57 states? He probably never heard it.

You parse words so nicely. What a wonderful quality :)
How artful of you to never mention FR rules in your queries...
