Today (11/24/10) during the European Parliament in Strasbourg, Nigel Farage, co-President of the EFD group, gave his concluding remarks (video here) at the European Council meeting on economic governance (28-29 October). His comments could have easily been directed at President Obama and the US Democratic regime of the past two years. For he says to the current leadership: You been in office just one year and the whole ediface is beginning to crumble
.the money has run out. Youve got to hear this!
British rhetoricians are peerless wordsmiths. Articulate body blows one after another.
That was awesome.
Simply brilliant. EU is dead. We are now watching it tumble.
I bet that most in the UK will dismiss it because of the UKIP connection.
That was GREAT. Absolutely awesome.
He got elected to the EU Parliament as a UKIPer.
Funny thing, they won’t vote for them in the House of Commons but they are happy to send em to Brussels.
If you think things here are better with the muslim - they are not. The same idiot populace who are brainwashed by TV and Hollywood.
Agreed - what we have here is the islamist and national socialist takeover with triple deficit - poverty and financial and social disintegration while freedoms get destroyed by the pan-leninist Obama. The whole schmeer is coming apart in the formerly free world.
UKIP currently holds twelve seats in the European Parliament and two in the House of Lords (the latter due to the defection of Conservative peers). It also has around 75 local councillors on principal authorities, town and parish councils. It reported a membership of 16,300 on 27 November 2009.
In the 2009 European elections, UKIP came second in the UK, beating the governing Labour Party with the share of the vote increasing by 0.4%, to 16.5%, to give it a total of thirteen seats in the European Parliament. At the UK General Election, 2010, the party polled 3.1% of the vote (an increase of 0.9% on the previous general election). They gained no seats, but were the fourth largest party in terms of the popular vote.
“That was GREAT. Absolutely awesome.”
That’s exactly the way to deal with liberals. By playing nice with them, and by being ‘civil’ and ‘gentlemanly’ we have allowed them credibility and to shift the center of American politics. They cannot be allowed to be ‘respected equals’ in the American debate. They have abused that privilege, and have tried to ridicule everyone else who doesn’t agree with them. They don’t deserve respect, and they need to be combated aggressively in the public arena at each and every opportunity. Their credibility needs to be put in the garbage, where it belongs.
bump...
bump
Morons watching TV - ball games, dance contests or Hollywood’s garbage are lulled into a dream world where everything is normal. I guess this is what ROme was like. ALL of TV and ALL of Hollywood support this.
It was either Ambrose Evans-Pritchard or I think David Pryce-Jones who said one day soon people will show up for work and the EU Parliment will be gone. The EU govt is a big police state govt that tries to redistribute wealth of places like Germany to Greece and Portugal and also into the pockets of the EU politicians.
The EU does the same thing the Dems are doing for California, NY, IL - making all tax payers bail them out.
UKIP is better than the Tories and obviously better than Labour or the Lib Dems.
I wish our congresscritters talked like that.
The EU bureaucracy is showing its totalitarian nature: an election which could conceivably put into power a faction opposed to the EU or its bailout terms WILL NOT BE PERMITTED by the EU.
Let its death be messy and final enough that people will lynch any politician who dares to try it again.
Thanksgiving for some; Thursday for others.
