Sniff, sniff, ....
Smells like a diversion, not something developed from “inside” information and expanded to hide an identity. It started to smell really bad several “episodes” ago when Mr. “Insider” praised the author for being courageous and now that praise is more frequent.
Show me something, however small, they you couldn’t surmise from what a well known fascist says on one of the Sunday news shows or theories that Rev. Manning floated way back before Barry was even elected.
Insider: Christ kid, grow a pair! You’re being effective, I got no complaints there, ok? You’re doing as good of a job at getting out the word as I could have ever thought possible when we started this thing. And you’re not the only one I’m talking to about this stuff, I told you that before, right? This stuff has been spread out there far and wide, and that gives you even more protection. And now we are seeing the real talking heads run with it – the baton is being handed off. Just relax.

I think Ulsterman and Insider have jumped the shark. There’s a whole lot of nothin’ here. Also, I’m pretty convinced by the change in style/tone over the course of the series that it’s a complete fabrication.
Ulsterman: The Pelosi office? About the California missile story?
Insider: (eyebrows raise - wide smile) Noooo, not the missile story…
My question is whether it is something obvious (and therefore useless), or something no one has considered. If it's the latter, things could get interesting....
In my opinion, based on the writing in that piece, Ulsterman and the Insider are one and the same. They use the same style phrasing and words. Nothing convinces me that this is anything but a “cold read”, specifically the technique some call “shotgunning”. I call it kitchen sinking, or tossing spaghetti against the wall.
Just a little too much over the top for me...
this doesn’t even remotely sound like a real conversation that people would have. the speaking styles of the “two” people are too similiar. Sure, the “insider” has some verbal ticks like using “kid” all the time and cursing, but between those 2-dimensional traits the phrasing and sentence structure is just too consistent. This is also just not how people talk. In a real conversation there is a lot more talking over each other.
I say it’s almost certainly fiction. And not even good fiction.
Even the whole setup is not believable. Why would this insider go talk to a “nobody”. The insider even says the blogger is a “nobody”. Yet he thinks these “leaks” will “make history”. If you wanted to make history, and you had real inside dirt on the white house, you risk everything by spilling it to an unknown blogger?
I call major BS. Doesn’t pass the sniff test even if I put a clothespin on my nose.
I’m getting more and more sure that the WH Insider is James Carville. You can almost hear his voice in the first part of this piece.

It’s starting to smell like a ‘book launch’ or movie script to me. Wonder if it will be fiction or biographical? LOL!
Like someone else said..one day Insider sounds like Rahm..then Cadell..now Carville...lol.
