Things got ugly when a black mail carrier refused to take back a letter he'd delivered to a lady in Hingham, Mass. She went on a racist rant and slapped him. He secretly taped it all on his cell phone.
The argument in the video is sparked by a certified letter that the mail carrier delivers. The woman has signed for it, but decides she doesn't want it because it's addressed to her husband, not her. But the mail guy won't take it back. Things go sour when she calls him a "F****** n***** thief." She quickly qualifies: "I'm not prejudiced but right now I'm getting real pissed off." Then everything she says afterward is so racist it would make George Wallace blush. Finally she slaps him. Just your normal day on the mail route. Except really, really racist.
If a supervisor or court had seen this video he would not have been fired.
New England? Not surprised at all...
Am I the only one who laughed my head off at this?
C’mon, crazy people are entertaining!
Physical battery of a federal official in the execution of his duties is "not illegal"?
Why would a cover your ass record be required for doing his job? His job was to deliver the registered letter, which he did. The addressees signature is how the Post Office confirms deliver.
In some states, it is illegal to record someone without their permission. What would have been the signee's complaint?
Assault and battery are most assuredly illegal.
This is in Massachusetts? But...But...I though racists were inbred redneck trailer trash from the South! She must be a plant...
The /b/tards are going to tear her up.
He’s got the patience of a saint. He was making every effort to be nice. I would have been in her face about the time she started.
The poor woman’s been out of work since the Combat Zone closed down. I saw things there I still cannot comprehend. That was 20 years ago.
I have a feeling that with the help of a decent lawyer, that Postal Worker is going to own that woman’s home.
Just sayin’.
Jack.
This is going to get ugly quick.
Someone just made a facebook page for her.

Also a good idea to tape one to the dash of your car. Same rationale.
She and the mail carrier need to have a sit down in the Rose Garden with the President over some cold beeyahs. That’s the only way this can properly be resolved...
“As distasteful as the womans behavior was, it was not illegal.”
The second she slapped him, the crime of assault was committed. Assaulting a postal employee during the performance of his duties, may very well be a felony.... a federal felony.
I see her comments as clearly racist comments, said in a moment of anger. She may or may not be a racist... people say lots of stupid and hurtful things when they’re pi$$ed. There is no excuse for her behavior and had an LEO been summoned to the scene, she could have been arrested. I do not support the hate crime laws, but because of the totality of the circumstances, that enhancement may apply.
My estimation is that she would have likely resisted arrest.
The postal employee committed no crime and in all ways acted reasonable under the circumstances.
Having said all of that, I (a white man) see this as just one more example of where Obama and his filthy racist tribe has taken this country. Obama has worked overtime to divide our country on more lines than I can count. The race line being at the top of the list.
This is why I could never be a postal worker. That woman does that to me- any “past due” bill notices and Social Security checks all get chucked into a random sewer grating.
But dam'if he didn't come back!
≤}B^)
That guy handled it much better than I would have and he should be commended on his professionalism. Damn crazy white people are funny.
I must admit, I did not watch the video, had just read about it and did not know about the assault.
That is of course a crime. I am not sure that a postal worker would be considered a federal agent since it is an independent, federally backed corporation, so it may or may not be a federal crime as well.
The recording is still illegal.
