Is Operation Alaska Chaos working? Update: 56 Senate write-in applications so far (chaos for Lisa!)

Apparently so, via Kyle Hopkins at the Anchorage Daily News:
I'm sitting at the Division of Elections office here in Midtown, where more than a dozen people have filed this afternoon to run as write-in candidates for U.S. Senate.
KFQD 750 AM radio host Dan Fagan, a backer of Republican nominee Joe Miller, has been urging voters to sign up in an act of "civil disobedience" -- defying what he calls the courts' illegal decision to allow a list of write-in candidates at polling places.
The ruling is expected to aid Sen. Lisa Murkowski's write-in bid. The idea of the mass registration is to create a long list of potential write-in choices and make it harder for voters to find Murkowski's name.
The deadline for registering as a write-in candidate is the close of business today.
"I'm signing up to become a senator," a man in a hoodie said into his cell phone. An Anchorage woman who said she was upset with the court ruling wheeled in her oxygen tank, asking if she could sign up to run for both federal and state office.
More soon.
UPDATE: Make that about two dozen people.
I'm not sure about the Dan Fagan connection. I thought this was Dan Riehl's idea. But as Reagan once said, there's no limit to what can be accomplished if you don't care who gets the credit. If there are any more readers in Alaska, get down to the Division of Elections and join the party.
Update: Hopkins has updated his article to include the following information:
The Anchorage office received 56 Senate write-in applications -- in person or by fax -- in just 45 minutes, said election clerk Raymond McAndrews at 5 p.m.
Question for our Alaska readers: Are there Division of Elections offices other than the one in Anchorage? If so, how many more write-in applications have been received on top of the 56 in Anchorage?

Dooh, I re-read my last post: I didn’t mean to imply she was an idiot driver..........I meant “drivers” in general.
To: onyx
Well according to the AP article she wasn’t late and WE know AP would’ve mentioned it.

She has new signs in the last few days on KGB Rd but Miller still has way more. There is a guy just before Settlers Bay who has a large Miller sign with lights on it so you can see it at night. Sweet...

The vetting is occurring and Alaskans see a confessed multiple liar, a bully and an untrustworthy person. Which is exactly why she was defeated in the primary.
Achance, is that you? Why'd you opus off of RedState.com...?
Cheers!

Maybe youre more conservative than most folks at the DailyKos; but not on this thread and certainly not on this web site.Ill trust Onyxs judgment that youre a Murkowski Troll.
Concur. Despite the sign-up date, look at the relative paucity of postings before Aug. 29; and the number of pro-Murkowski postings since then.
Can't say *SNIFF* due to signup date, but still...

You should have signed up for Senator yourself, under the name "Jawana Blowmee" and the campaign slogan "Has anyone seen Mike Hawk?"
Cheers!

KATHY IN ALASKA'S POST - SHE WAS THERE!AND SHE JUST GOT HOME and she said NOTHING about Sarah being late, so that poster was also lying about that, too.
I know he's been for Murkowski all along, so he is a Murkowski troll, and I took him to task earlier for posting lies about Joe Miller.
Please read Kathy's post to see some of the vicious, filthy lies and dirty deed Lisa has already done in pursuit of her sore loser, corrupt attempt to retain the Senate seat she thinks she's entitled to have despite losing the primary to Joe Miller.

We are currently experiencing our first snowfall, with an exceptionally warm fall so far not many people have seen the need to switch over to studded tires, I have not seen any black ice or any ice on the roads around Wasilla at all yet. Well all of a sudden we get a couple of inches of snow, more in some places and the worst danger is the idiots who have just moved here and are still using tires poorly designed for snow, drivers who do live here but are in summer mode still. So Sarah Palin was late, big deal... Except to the countless bloggers all across the lower 48 who are "concerned". Myself I am about to leave for work, not to work as I am seasonally laid off for the season but I love to work in the wee early morning and its just another 15 minutes to friday. I have a diesel generator I am putting together in case of a power outage. Sarah won't drop Joe Miller, no way. And Lisa won't support Sarah at all. Run Joe Run! Postscript: Lisa Murkowskis checks are going to bounce.

First snowfall and it won’t be your last. Be safe and thanks for writing to me! Sarah wasn’t late. You’re about to leave for work and Red Eye is over, so I am heading to bed. I think it’s “cold” here - 40’s...lol. (((HUGS)))

There is a shop on Blue Lupine the frontage road between the Harley shop and Sears that has a couple dozen stuck out front. I have a Joe Miller sign on the driveway that leads up to my batch plant there at Wolverine Supply.

Actually I'm off season, I just head to my shop because that is where I keep all my tools. I might take my wifes car and put her studded tires on, and I will load the bed of my Silverado dually with some concrete block for traction, it has 6WD but its too light in the rear. I have been sorta laid up with a pinched nerve in my lower back since monday, so I have been home and sleeping a lot, the good news is that from now until around april I will be on the puter, working on my motorcycle or doing some hobby stuff through our long dark cold winter.

Someone needs to get over to Wikipedia and clean up the innuendos and lies about Joe Miller there.

Thousands of Alaskans have already voted early in person or by Absentee. I bet not one of the Absentee voters wrote her name in.

I have a feeling the court will change course and ban the write-in list
What court are we talking here? The Alaska Supreme Court? I think it should go all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Even the folks with a "W" as in "Wokowski", or "Wojahorski", especially if they're named "Lisa" or "Lisa M".
Then there is "Wojahowicz" ~ oh yes, the opportunities boggle the mind, and are there Russians in Alaska?
