If O’Donnell’s Bozo was licensed by Harmon’s franchise, he was not a “faux Bozo.” (Harmon was a hard core lib, by the way)

Whenever I see people scoffed at for seeking high office because they don’t measure up to someone’s expectations, I can’t help but recall my post college days in California.
George Murphy and S. I. Hayakawa were the senators. Murphy was an actor. S. I. was an English professor. From memory, nothing significant about Murphy’s contribution stands out, except, he was an actor. Ole S.I. was known for wearing a ‘Tam and sleeping durning committee meetings. I can recall the pictures.
I suspect Christine can’t do any worse. At least, she has the guts to try!
