"This is weird. Glenn Beck, who became a Mormon a few years back, is now using his program to promote Mormon archaeology. If you click on these links you can view it. He also has a conspiracy theory about how science, government, commerce, and religion, not in the least, the Smithsonian Institute, purposefully altered history. My good friend Kurt Van Gorden sent me the links below, as well as the descriptions of what he is saying in the videos.
In the first video, about half way through, I about fell out of my chair when Beck referenced Adair’s History of the American Indians ( imagine! ) as proof of similarity between Native American ceremonies and Israelites. He forgot to mention that it predates the BOM by several decades (It was written arounde 1765!). He then ties the Egyptian pyramid math to the Indian mounds (only FARMS and the Maxwell Institute have ventured in this arena, which instantly identified his sources for me). Then in the second video, he uses the fraudulent Newark Stone and the fraudulent Bat Creek stone Hebrew inscriptions as proof of Hebrew among the Indians."

I didn't really ask your religion, I asked if you are a Mormon, if you are anything other than a Mormon, then just say no to the question. It would be weird for a Christian to be devoting so much effort on the behalf of Mormonism though.***

Each individual in this war have their place of service...some are ment to nurse the wounds, others to fight the front lines against the opposition. Remember there is a “time for war”...we are in that time.
What I have noted over these past years is God is not only seeking those who are lost...but there is a definite push to rescue those caught in the strongholds of counterfeit religions and the cults...to bring them out. The enemy of mens souls does not let go of his victim without a fight. There is at the same time a very active push by the enemy of God to capture people and lead them away from Christ....many false Christs are being presented...just as He said there would be. So the war for mens souls is now fought on several fronts.....Satan knows is time is short.
Would you continue to stand with someone you know is speaking untruth? I doubt it. That's the basis of the issue I'm struggling with, with Glenn Beck, whom I pray almost daily for, as well as the safety of his family, his staff, and their families. Glenn is assaulting edifices of evil which have been undisturbed for too long. We The People are now starting to rip down the progressives towers of deceit. We must keep our teaching accurate, not teaching gross error just because the misguided leadership of the Mormon religion teach it.
Its a lot harder discussing things on the internet than talking face to face and mistakes in meaning get made..

What’s crazy is the fact you haven’t read my posts here regarding Mormonism. I have posted several times that I do not know much about them but what I do know I don’t agree with.
My problem with this thread was the intent of the poster to start a Beck bashing thread.
My statement regarding judgment is self evident, only Christ can and will judge.

Tell you what CB, just try get the Mormon church to cut out vv. 18-19 of their "scripture" that has three of the above references to us before you label some false kumbayah "peace." Mormonism declared war on Christianity in 1830 and hasn't issued a "cease fire" yet.
I knew that you would GG...... That heavenly warfare is being played out on earth..as you also know. You mention being "old" but my dear you have the distinct wisdom of seeing how this warfare has ebbed and flowed over the years. How Christians are now in this country being silenced where once we were a "light on a hill"... ....But now the enemy of God operates in full view of the audience without much restraint...and is infiltrating the churches at alarming rates...as well as out country...media.. the voices that persuade and deceive.
It must be difficult for you to see what is happening within the churches and the country you have known so well....yet we know Biblical history is clear, when a nation turned it's back on God they were invaded by foreigners and pagan believers who also masked as a "friend" to Israel. This is happening in our country.
When one works with occult and cult members to bring them out...one recognizes clearly what they are about. The lines are not blurred... They are what they are. But the most dangerous and vile false religions are those who claim Christianity, use the terminology, and because of these fool even those who are Christians.....who take the bait and get strongheld within the organization... Mormonism is just that and God is going after those Christians who are caught in that stronghold.
Beck is one who very well may be a Christian before he entered Mormonism...most think he is and why God has sent so many true Christian leaders lead him away from Mormonism. He is in a tough place because it will mean a choice for him..yet again. Hopefully Christian leaders will remain involved with Beck and God will give him sight to see his errors. We are all hoping for this.
I think some..maybe even yourself...find anyone that opposes something Beck said or questions something about Beck...as bashing, and bigoted.
Unjust judgment is clearly condemned by the Scriptures. Righteous judgment, however, is not only authorized, but commanded. Part of just judgment is exposing false doctrine when it comes our way. Something that need not be forgotten, especially when dealing with judgment, is found in Ephesians 4:15 where Paul entreats us to speak the truth with love. [Our necessary judgments, though, must stop short of presuming to pass final judgment on any soul (James 4:12)
Matthew 7:1-6, Luke 6:37, John 7:24....The passages in Matthew and Luke seem to condemn all forms of judgment, but when they are properly considered in context and in Greek, one finds they only condemn unjust judgment. The passage in John shows there is a difference between unrighteous and righteous judgment.
So, you can judge others. And we do it all the time....I can judge folks that are making the mistakes that I made when I was younger....as long as I'm not still involved in those actions. The point is...maybe I can help them over come...something that I have already gone through.

Also the ramping up of martyrs for Christ in that part of the world..
For me the killing of Christians will continue until their numbers are filled.....I get that from Revelation when those killed for their faith cry out to god and are told to be patient, their numbers are not filled yet...
I have a tendency to figure things are unfolding as they are suppose to. That does not mean that we should quit fighting the fight, the results are not in our hands... Don't mean to change the subject, as this reply is not about mormons, but just a passing thought I had...

It isn't opinion, it is based on your posts, you word your own statement, or question and pretend that one of us said it to you, and then you answer that, to avoid answering our actual posts to you.
You only defend one religion on FR, and you do it obsessively and aggressively, why is that? You used to be Catholic before you left that church, why don't you spend time defending them, or Protestants?
Why only Mormonism? Are you still a Christian?
