When the poor have nowhere to go...

Witness below the true cost of being rich in so-called "America". These children illustrate my point exactly. Normally I have little regard for children, because they just steal oxygen from the rain forests and contribute to childhood obesity. However, as you can see in this video, rich people have been pushing them away from safe places to ride their skateboards. Now, because of corporations, they can't exercise in peace without running over oddly placed wooden inclines or suddenly coming upon dangerous concrete steps, forcing them to jump at the last minute onto precarious metal handrails to avoid a dangerous tumble. What kid wants to be skating along and then suddenly fall off the edge of a 5 foot high drop, because industrialists have removed all the government-approved roller skating facilities? What kid wants to play in some abandoned warehouse district? Nobody has these answers, and if they do, they aren't talking.

Love your user name. Is it correct to assume a Harry Potter link?

Heh ya, I thought it has a sort of non-elitist connotation, and I like the books. But I don’t have a wand or anything... :)

Love the books, I’ve read through them so many times. It’s just a never ending cycle now. I teach Language Arts at a high school and I’ve been given permission to teach a Harry Potter elective next semester. I’m pretty pumped about it. It will be a literature class, not “who’s your favorite character” class.

Sounds kind of like “A Charlie Brown Christmas”.

He’s not Wishy / Washy. He is just Wishy one day and Washy the Next.

That’s pretty cool. And from a conservative, no less. My wife has an R by her name and loves them too. And she’s a Catholic, and not a revisionist one either.

We’re going to get into the religion aspect of the series. I find it interesting that Harry can be seen as a Christ-like figure because of what he did in the end. Anyway, it should be a good class.

I love this quote - “Republican jerks, if you don’t realize by now the horrors of capitalism, maybe you should start. If only to save your precious so-called “children” so that they can grow up to worship Jesus, oppress women and attack Muslims.”

Love it. In my humble opinion we should be FORCED to worship Jesus one day and Barak Harry Obama the next, then oppress women, homosexuals, the blind and elderly. But we should never attack Muslims. We should collect money to send them back to France where they came from.

Had a great opinion survey one can take. Just as lame as the whole site was. THAT is what makes it funny.

I like people that can act like they are stupid AND actually prove it in the process.
