"This is probably one of the few times we're going to disagree here." -- Sean Hannity to Karl Rove regarding Christine O'Donnell.
I'll say. Even after Fox News called the Delaware GOP senatorial primary for Christine O'Donnell tonight, Karl Rove continued to rip the winner, questioning everything from O'Donnell's "rectitude" to her "character." Concluded the pessimistic Rove: "this is not a race we're going to be able to win."
Sean defended O'Donnell staunchly, but was met with a litany of Roveian criticism of Christine, including these comments:

easier to carry?
Yes. Can't overburden him, now, can we?
LOL!
Rove is done ;-)
That's the basic letter, rant I gave the RNC and GOP when they came sniffing for money around five years ago.
Rove: I trashed and undermined every conservative politician in the country for years, and Soros never threw money at me.....only the DNC did “
I just can't figure out why he did this...
Thanks Dubya-M-DeesWent2SyriaStupid!
Yeah, exactly. Heh...
Thanks for the ping/post, Liz. (I just got home from work, but commented on a thread earlier today about..”Karl, you idiot.”)
BTTT! for a GRRRRRRRREAT FReeper thread.
Rove was back at it again tonight on VanSusteren’s show. He didn’t back off, but was even more hostile toward O’Donnell. I mentioned earlier today that Rove is like a snake that has been stepped on. He struck instinctively.
Rove advised George W. Bush in pushing for amnesty for illegal aliens. He allowed Democrats almost a year to bash Bush with “Bush lied and people died.” He and Bush knew that every major Democratic Party politician was on video tape calling for regime change in Iraq.
About a year ago Rove admitted that error on Fox. Rove, the Bush presidents, the Clintons and other politicians are globalists. They have been pursuing an internationalist agenda that has nothing to do with the best interests of the American people.
Now here come these pesky Tea Party people throwing a monkey wrench into things. Rove is scared and angry, just like the rest of the progressives in both Parties. It makes no difference which Party these politicians belong to, they are betraying the American people and it is catching up with them.
The good news is that we don’t have to throw every one of these creeps out, even though that idea has merit. The rest of the prostitutes will tacking to starboard as hard as they can. After all, nothing is more important to them than staying in office.
I saw Rove on Greta tonight, and he’s still ripping O’Donnell. Democrats don’t care if their own candidates are scum, but they’ll be repeating what Rove’s been saying.
“Rove acted like an idiot.”
It’s not an act.
The information pertaining to the candidate is available to anyone willing to do the work to find it. She can dispute it all she wants, but there is audio and video supporting the assertions her critics make.
If not for that meddling Rove, the Dems would have never been clued in. Etc.
Rove can have a tantrum once in a while. Maybe he (like many others) is frustrated with the lack of “principled conservatism” being shown by people who say they want change, then shove more of the same down our throats.
I’m a disinterested third party, but that doesn’t mean I think Rove is a RINO (#Hilarity) because he wouldn’t toe the TP line.
Jus’sayin, hope this hepps heaps, etc.
No he can't. He's supposed to be a "professional". Do you want your airline pilot having a tantrum once in a while? Your lawyer? Your police chief?
Maybe he (like many others) is frustrated with the lack of principled conservatism being shown by people who say they want change, then shove more of the same down our throats.
The lack of "principled conservatism" is more evident in Castle, who's votes are much more akin to loyal Obama-Democrats than to a conservative.
The personal stuff doesn't sound all that heavy, and is being disputed by the accused party anyways.
Im a disinterested third party,
Strongly disagree. I have never seen you do anything but closely hew to the Establishment Republican line, in the entire time I have known you.
but that doesnt mean I think Rove is a RINO (#Hilarity) because he wouldnt toe the TP line.
There is no Tea Party line, the minute she was elected to represent the Republican party's bid to take this Senate seat.
Rove is doing what he can to fight the Republican party.
That would be the definition of 'In Name Only'.
Excellent post!
One would think that Rove is not only not on the same page with us...but he’s in a different book altogether.
The best thing that has happened between last night and today is the Rove and Company are finally figuring out the we aren’t just mad at the ‘rats...but at the pubbies, too. That’s why they are exhibiting so much fear.
That, and noticing that, once again, Mittens has taken the safe road.
Thank you. :)
"If we attack President Obama for putting people who can't pay their taxes into his Administration, how can we defend a Republican candidate who doesn't pay her taxes, her college bills, or her mortgage; has had no visible means of support; and sued a reputable conservative organization claiming she was the victim of sex discrimination? She didn't win the lawsuit: her employer said she was fired for trying to run her own pr consulting firm out of their offices while on their clock. We conservatives want conservative candidates, but we do our cause little good by nominating conservatives with serious questions about their fitness and character. Here are some of the articles that helped shape my thinking, in addition to my impression after meeting her briefly last year:"
He then goes on to list the text of various articles, much too long to present here. This guy is a maniac of the first order. I'm convinced he has a personal connection to her defeat (as some have suggested here), and is taking this far beyond reason. The man is beyond reason, and anything coming from him has to be taken with a great deal of skepticism if not downright disdain.
From what I understand, O'Donnell has responded to all the accusations and has even presented proof. For Karl (Marx) Rove to continue waging this one-person war against this woman is beyond all reason. He's a hateful, despicable little schmuck, and needs to be censored. Contact Fox News, let them know what you think of this person. I already have, and will do so again, letting them know of his response.
Oh, if you have your private FR email enabled, I'll see if I can forward the email to you if you wish...
