President Obama and his family arrived today in Maine to begin a weekend vacation on Mount Desert Island and, within 40 minutes of landing, were taking a bike ride in Acadia National Park.

So tired, worn out, all the work he did in sloving the oil leak here on the coast, needed that ‘change of pace’, relax, and the Mizzz, we got her coming here next week?
Is that damn woman coming here again next week? Is this another vacation or is she here to tell us how obama plugged the damn hole?
“The One” plugged the hole and then on the seventh day he rested. Or is this the 87th day?
And is he really “the One?” He seems more like a big Zero?

Yes, he did. He has some MAJOR OCD about ice cream, in my opinion.
She said it isn’t a right..But of course that does not apply to them, just us schlubs who pay for all the air and security for the royals when they travel which seems to be all the time....they go on vacations while we work to pay for their holidays..we don’t get holidays of any kind..oh wait maybe the 4th of July or the start of Ramadan we might..Christmas is out, Easter is out...oh Labor Day maybe...we are workers ya know,../sarc
We'll soon have to wait for air drops of those hard candies, like our military hands out to children overseas. That will be our only govt-issued dessert. Except there won't be any airdrops or any military to give us glimmers of hope for the future.
I guess we're lucky here in the Sonoran desert, might be able to pick some prickly pear or saguaro fruit for dessert. While the nobility eats champagne cake and ice cream every hour.

One thing for sure, we sure will not see them entering a church, have not see this since they have been in Washington.
Upon seeing the sign, my first thought was black power. It doesn’t matter how great their ice cream is, not with that signage.
This place is way off the main drag. “Normal” people get there ice cream at the place across from the village green while waiting for the bus back to the campgrounds or the less pricey hotels. I’m very relieved because I’m going to make a point of boycotting any place I see the Obama’s patronizing.
Can you begin to imagine the outrage in the media if Bush had vacationed like this with an unemployment rate in the stratosphere?
Someday, after we come out of the economic and political abyss wrought on this country by Obama, someone is going to do a real, devastating expose on him.

second year now we have had no vacation and stuck here with not much money.
