Hawaii elections clerk: Obama not born here

A college instructor who worked as a senior elections clerk for the city and county of Honolulu in 2008 is making the stunning claim Barack Obama was definitely not born in Hawaii as the White House maintains, and that a long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate for Obama does not even exist in the Aloha State.

Tim Adams, a former senior elections clerk for Honolulu, now teaches English at Western Kentucky University.

"There is no birth certificate," said Tim Adams, a graduate assistant who teaches English at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Ky. "It's like an open secret. There isn't one. Everyone in the government there knows this."

Adams, who says he's a Hillary Clinton supporter who ended up voting for John McCain when Clinton lost the Democratic nomination toObama, told WND, "I managed the absentee-ballot office. It was my job to verify the voters' identity."

He says during the 2008 campaign when the issue of Obama's constitutional eligibility first arose, the elections office was inundated with requests to verify the birthplace of the U.S. senator from Illinois.

"I had direct access to the Social Security database, the national crime computer, state driver's license information, international passport information, basically just about anything you can imagine to get someone's identity," Adams explained. "I could look up what bank your home mortgage was in. I was informed by my boss that we did not have a birth record [for Obama]."

In this Aug07 2009 interview with Lori Roth, Douglas Hagman claims that an unnamed talkshow host received threats from the Obama Administration and was ordered to suppress any discussions regarding his place of birth and citizenship status.

It is heartening to read comments from more and more Freepers who understand the basic issue. Someone on FR reminded me that McCaskill’s SB 2678 was the 26th attempt to amend Article II Section 1 - the natural born citizen clause.

The cooperation between McCain and Obama’s team went deeper. The head of the legal team defending McCain in the lawsuits, McCain Justice Advisory Committee, Christopher Landau, managed a young attorney who wrote a brief arguing for amending the natural born citizenship requirement. She published in the Chicago Kent Law Review. Sarah Herlihy and her boss Landau worked for Kirkham and Ellis which had a senior partner on Obama’s election committee. Everyone in the legal community, and the legislature knew, and betrayed their oaths by keeping silent.

There were five other senate bills proposing to amend article II between 2000 and 2008, including bills by Orrin Hatch and Barney Frank.

Let's hope the election's clerk's claim withstand the attacks by paid apparatchiks and state-run media, but a non-Hawaiian birth is just icing on the cake. ‘Born on the soil of citizen parents’ is the language of our founders and framers. If the supreme court arrives at any other definition they will have further destroyed the Constitution. In the quotation chosen by Mark Levin for his book Liberty and Tyranny (p37), James Madison says:

I entirely concur on the propriety of resorting to the sense in which the Constitution was accepted and ratified by the nation. In that sense alone is it the legitimate Constitution. And if that be not the guide in expounding it, there can be no security for a consistent and stable, more than for a faithful exercise of its powers.”

Mark, unfortunately, is afraid to voice the obvious implications of the doctrine he preaches. With a family to feed, I too might hesitate.

Why do you think WND, including the reporter Kovac, completely ignore the second of the two qualifiers for natural born citizenship, jus sanguinis - the allegiance of his parents? Is this all about Internet traffic counters? No one in Hawaii talked before, and will be unlikely to do so now. Proving the absence of something requires that some legal authority compel discovery, and the Politburo owns the Justice Department. The clerk was a Hillery supporter. Could this be an initial move by Hillary? Probably not. But at least this keeps the issue alive.

If Hillary were to expose Obama, would she get enough credit to make her a worthy opponent of Palin? Surely Obama is sinking any chances Hillary has in this life of running for president. She will go down with the ship, unless she saves us from the progressive utopia. But remember, Hillary's senior thesis was on Saul Alinsky.

I was born in Honolulu in 1968.
My birth was NOT posted/announced in any newspaper in Hawaii.

My parents didn't notify any newspaper about my birth. So it wasn't printed.

(My parents were front to back newspaper readers their whole adult lives. If it was there, they would have clipped it and saved it.

In 1968 they were NOT auto placing all birth announcements in the newspapers.
I really can’t see that in 1961 the dept. of health was placing birth announcements, but in ‘68 they were not.

This is why I don’t believe much of anything coming from Okubo or most Hawaiian govt. officials.

I agree, most telling to me was the fact that this educated man, thinks its a shame that his reputation is tarnished as President. He does not seem to understand that Obamas mother could not confer citizenship to her son, as she was out of the country too long, and not back in long enough before his birth.
Of course, the fact that his father was NEVER a US Citizen disqualifies him immediately. but...
This guy does not realize that his statement, if true, makes Obama ineligable for POTUS.
For that reason alone, his lack of knowledge concerning eligibility, it rings true to me, however, saying it, and proving it, are two different things.
