And that’s just a fact and yet people continue to call up and e-mail and want to make it an issue and I think it’s again a horrible distraction for the country by those people who continue this.” However, the only statement issued by any Hawaii state official during the campaign is here, and it did not mention the hospital of Obama’s supposed birth.

Didn't one of Obozo's biographies say he was born at Queen's Hospital? What does it say in his book? Of course under the Obama regime like in the book 1984 and Stalin's Russia the truth is whatever the regime wants and will be altered accordingly.

Hmmmmmm I thought it was against the laws of the state of Hawaii for anyone, including the Govenor, to release any information on a Birth Cert. without specific directions from the person named on the Cert!

If the Governor of Hawaii puts out a public statement about a document she viewed or she stated that an official viewed, isn’t it necessary for her to release the document to whomever requests it in order to back up her statement?

The White House has consistently dismissed the issue. Authorities in Hawaii have provided an electronic record of Obama’s birth because the paper copy was destroyed in a fire which wiped out much of the state’s archives.

When he was in Hawaii in December of 2008, and the power went out that night for several hours, the fix was in. Rahm was in Africa taking care of business on that end. They probably don’t mind if someone views it, they don’t want it removed and they don’t want to make it public because people may discover it was recently done. That is what I believe. He can clear it all up bu producing it. Until then, I say he’s hiding something.

I think she is lying through her teeth. Somebody told her that if she wants to remain governor and have a future, she had better come out with a statement. Otherwise, no pork for Hawaii.

So she did. But it makes no sense, and it contradicts earlier statements. An official DID look at the original certificate, whatever that means. But NO OFFICIAL has said the name of the hospital where Obama was born.

In other words, Lingle is making this up as she goes along. She hasn’t followed it as closely as many of us have, so she gets it wrong. Par for the course.
