I thought the folks arrested at Hutaree were released until their trials... Still, I understand what you are saying. There is way more to what this guy is calling for than what’s been released as “evidence” against the group from Hutaree.

There or in Cuba! Or heck, why not go back to Mexico and attempt to subvert THAT government instead of ours? If Communism is so wonderful then surely it would be worth it to make their revolution in Mexico and “free” their country, wouldn’t it? These people are so brainwashed, and uneducated it’s pathetic... And to think this guy is a teacher who is spreading this hate, and backwards thinking to his students. It’s sickening. If they hate it here so much then WHY are they here? If capitalism and freedom are so horrible then WHY do they flock here so regularly?
I think many of us here at FR as WELL aware of EXACTLY what’s going on. I don’t think many people here are unaware of the fact that the Worldwide Communist Organizations are very active within this country.
I understand your frustration, really I do. But, like I said, I think at least a good majority of people here at FR are awake and aware...
He admitted that his real enemy is capitalism. He is just playing the race card/immigration card because it pertains to this particular audience.
If he was speaking to a different group, he would start with an issue of interest to them and then try to lead them towards communism.
I totally agree with you on that fact. The pressure is certainly mounting on us, and our allies (especially the former Russian occupied states — Ukraine, Poland, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan). They see what a weak leader Obama is - and one who is loathe to take any action against a threat. We are at greater risk from the Neo-Soviets, and various Communist and totalitarian regimes (who work with these Communists), than we were during the Cold War, IMHO. Especially with Obama stripping our military as he is.
In “Atlas Shrugged”. a character named Fred Kinnan gives an excellent monologue about the nature of the “modern” intellectual. One line in particular states something like: “The modern intellectual will spit on the man who protects his rights, but will lick the boots of the man who kicks him in the teeth.” While there is a lot of truth in that, it does not go far enough. This guy dreams of totalitarian society where the “capitalists and imperialists” are out of power and he and his fellow intellectuals call the shots.
The Hutaree are still in jail. The first release was stayed because of the totally unrelated shooting of the Detroit cop last week. and the second has been stayed because of a fight among feds over release conditions.
The feds say that GPS tracking usn’t sufficient and they want to take guns from people given 3rd party custodial supervision of the Hutaree.

I gave the feds the benefit of a doubt till I saw the evidence. The judge who ordered them released is a black female Clinton appointee and she basically destroyed the feds case in her 36 page opinion. The feds really don’t appear to have anything but a few million dollar bill to pay for a two year investigation and pseudo military raid.

Some where saying they came here because it was safer than their country and when one said he came here because it was a nation of laws the whole audience loudly agreed.
If Mexicans want to change our immigration laws, they should do that legally, too.

I had not heard that their release was stayed. Thanks for the information. I haven’t read completely through the judge’s opinion so thanks for posting that link, and the others as well. I too gave the Feds the benefit of the doubt until hearing (in an article) what the judge decided in regards to releasing them. It’s sickening when our Feds spend (waste) their time on these folks when there are Militant Islamic “armies” training here in the US and attempting to attack us! THAT is where they focus needs to be — not to mention the threats on our country involving the drug trafficking across the border of Mexico (esp. in Arizona). I would say this was a total misuse of tax dollars, and I wouldn’t doubt a political agenda behind it at all.

I use “you” in the very general sense.

That’s a start, I guess. But what Americans need to do is realize that they are doing serious, serious damage to the country.
You can’t walk outside, or turn on your television and see the damage yet, but it is most certainly taking place.
It’s taking place in the hearts and minds of the American people.
Your mind is the prize. This is not a war with guns, or sticks, or rocks (yet). This is a war over who’s belief system will prevail—individual freedom, or “shared sacrifice”
This is a war that we are losing, horribly.
If we lose the war, then you will start to see the type of things you have seen in the great oppressive states, Freedom of Speech: Gone; Right to Assemble: Gone; Right to Bear Arms: Gone; Property Rights: Gone.
Then there are the theories about what happens globally when the US falls—unimaginable suffering and death, by the hundreds of millions. What’s the opposite of “Shining city on a hill.”?
Then, there is the recent explosion of government, which is a direct result of the above shift in belief system of far too many Americans.
This is insidious, it is a cancer, and it will end with horror, as it always has.
Americans seem to believe themselves entitled to freedom, whether or not they actually WORK to preserve it. You will lose it all if don’t PROACTIVELY defend it in your every day life, and as a matter of habit.
You must tear off the PC muzzle and blindfold. You must no longer be afraid to speak out, dare I say, to OFFEND SOME PEOPLE in support of your freedom, of your family’s freedom.
Your grandparents did it without a second thought.

Do you think when OUR PRESIDENT said that the constitution should say what the government should do “on you behalf” that he was kidding? Did he just misspeak?
He stated his intention: to destroy the constitution. To extreme for you? Then PLEASE explain to me how his concept of “on your behalf” is not the antithesis of the founders’ intent.
