..Now the sad part. I also got an email today from one of Randall Prices students. The email contains a message from Dr. Price about this expedition. (Dr. Price, as some of you may recall, has been doing a lot of searching for the ark lately.) Here is an excerpt from his message:
I was the archaeologist with the Chinese expedition in the summer of 2008 and was given photos of what they now are reporting to be the inside of the Ark. I and my partners invested $100,000 in this expedition (described below) which they have retained, despite their promise and our requests to return it, since it was not used for the expedition. The information given below is my opinion based on what I have seen and heard (from others who claim to have been eyewitnesses or know the exact details).
To make a long story short: this is all reported to be a fake. The photos were reputed to have been taken off site near the Black Sea, but the film footage the Chinese now have was shot on location on Mt. Ararat. In the late summer of 2008 ten Kurdish workers hired by Parasut, the guide used by the Chinese, are said to have planted large wood beams taken from an old structure in the Black Sea area (where the photos were originally taken) at the Mt. Ararat site....

Imagine that.
LOL!
I heard Price on the radio this weekend. Yup, sounds like a hoax.
The same “scientist” that worked on climategate? ;-)
It is awesome!
The timber form the dead sea sounds like more of a hoax to me. Would would probably not have survived then4800 years the carbon dating says. There are stories going back to the crusader times so someone took a lot of trouble a long time ago and for what?
Randall Price....
From what I read on the internet.
Mr. Price appears to be a Ark Searcher/Explorer Competitor (Now) and has his own idea where the Ark is. (Jealousy involved?)
He seems to be more bitter about the 100K he says he is owed than revealing the recent find as a the Hoax. (pictures and proof of the Hoax?..rather than a story).
He seems to have retracted some of the original comments
he made in the email (accusation of hoax concerning the planting of wood on Mount Ararat)
I’m shocked!
I sure wish they’d hurry up and find that Ark. Something tells me we’re going to be needing it pretty soon. Where’s that Noah feller when we need him?

My sister knows Dr. Ron Charles Historian and Archeologist who has been to the site of the Ark on more than one occasion. He has seen in person the same things we are seeing in these Internet videos, and much more. He and his wife stayed with my sister while they were speaking to Churches here in the Northwest on the Ark discovery and other projects throughout the world he is involved with. On his last visit he discussed the scenes we are now seeing captured on the cameras of Chinese.
With modern power tools it took over 300 man-years of labor to build each of the Ark 'replicas'.
